Are newly delivered CT's being delivered with the rivet to fix the accelerator pedal?

Ok but it's a little different than asking when the new widget comes out. I'm just saying if lots of people ask them about something they may ask others in the company and so on. If no one asks about it there is no chatter in the SC or their management and so on.

Copy, I think you’d be in the minority with that thought process. Social Media or news gets to the top but not inquiries at the SC. Not sure if you have your CT yet but you can start with asking when yours will arrive. I was told by a SC rep back in January that if I ordered that day I’d have it within 4 months. He didn’t know I already had an order.

From what I read, the issue was not anything wrong with the pedal itself, the issue was that they were using soap as a lubricant to slide the pedal cover on (apparently unapproved), and the soap was causing it to eventually come loose. If that is true, it makes sense that early vin's maybe didn't use the soap, and thus they don't need the rivet. Also would imply that for the latest builds they stopped using the soap and thus the rivet is not needed.

Lol soap. I know my vin was built well after the recall. Hopefully will get it this week and I'll check for the rivet goodness

My 74XX has the rivet. All 15 vehicles delivered on my delivery day had rivets. I was the only Tri-motor.
