Drove my Cybertruck from Charlotte to Tampa and back this weekend for a wedding. Loved every minute. Smooth as silk. 60 people came up to me at charging stops. Every one of them friendly and happy about the truck.

Also, I got a service appointment for May 2nd at the new service center north of Charlotte, to take care of the recall, though they said they are still waiting on parts, so it may or may not happen on that day. But I’m glad it’s open!!

Update. I have a delivery scheduled for this Friday. Not sure if they riveted the pedal or installed a new pedal, but it looks like they will get deliveries started (they gave me the option for tomorrow).

Update. I have a delivery scheduled for this Friday. Not sure if they riveted the pedal or installed a new pedal, but it looks like they will get deliveries started (they gave me the option for tomorrow).
I’m free tomorrow, if only they’d free my truck.

I texted for an update yesterday. They responded this morning saying they will have an update end of day. They texted 15 minutes later saying I could schedule delivery as soon as tomorrow.

Did you call or go to the service center? Ive only been messaging them through the app and don't have any clue about when my delivery date will be. I tried to connect my bank through Plaid but it didnt work, so I have a manager's check. I uploaded the insurance info a few days ago also. Configured Dec 25, VIN April 3, Charlotte

I’ve been to the showroom a few times over the past 10 days with limited success. The comms today were via text message. I’m not sure if that message is the same infrastructure as messaging within the app, but I know I’ve communicated to multiple people via the same text message number (from Charlotte and others in call centers elsewhere).

I texted through the app on the 22nd asking if delivery this week was possible and was told that they will reach out as soon as they have an update.

Well, I took your advice and a shot in the dark. I now have delivery scheduled for Friday!! I will keep everyone updated with any info I can find.

I was fortunate enough to be one of the first 10 delivered there on Easter weekend, while I was there they said they had no clue when they would receive another shipment and I'm guessing the hold didn't help with that at all

Bearded Sasquatch and Randy said they saw 30-50 sitting in the holding lot in the past few days.

Congrats on the VIN!! They seem to be picking up in NC - I've noticed 2 new CTs in my hood since Monday.

I'm in Raleigh (no VIIN yet), and have had multiple calls / emails from "Yes Solar Solutions" based in Cary,NC. They claim to be the first (at one point they said only, so not sure which it is)

"installer in NC to be certified by Tesla and hold an unlimited electrical
license". Not sure if they work in CLT. DM me if you want a contact & #

They seemed like they were ready to do it at any point, and I had a follow up email from Tesla telling me if I didn't respond to them in 21 days I'd lose eligibility and get the supercharging instead.

After 3 prior tesla deliveries (none were even good-adjacent) - I'm waiting until the CT is in my driveway before I spend money on the power share.
