I told myself, I couldn't wait another year for a CT. Even if it meant losing possibly $20k in incentives and discounts, so I decided to buy now. Everyone is different, with different life situations, but that was the one for me.

I would say incentives between now and February will be limited, with quarterly pushes being the norm.

Can we stay on target please? Who cares about all this quibble. We need free lifetime supercharging to not feel like bone heads for falling for the foundation series marketing scheme.

I am not expecting Tesla to do anything about the SC issue, it is what it is and it's their company so they can do what they want. But it will make me hesitate in the future to buy anything new from them, knowing they make no effort to make it worthwhile for first adopters to buy... it's best to wait awhile.

That all being said. I'm consoling myself because I know this isn't a car I'm taking multiple long road trips in more than likely, I'll just fly. And at the end of the day, if I'm at 20% or slightly less, will I drive to a SC and park for 30+ minutes to save $15-20 bucks? Or will I just drive home, plug it in, kick my shoes off and chill out.

I'm know myself pretty well...I'm betting on the latter.

As long time Tesla owner, I've learned not to be first unless there is a very good reason to be first that I can take advantage of (say publicity, attention) of getting 1st Tesla product. Tesla knew the CT would be an insane attention getting vehicle and priced it to market accordingly. I fought against all my internal desire having been among the first to reserve the CT, but upon seeing the FS pricing, and knowing that I could not reasonable take advantage of being a first mover, I decided against a purchase until something more palatable.

I'm not saying my current FS + FUSC is the best deal either, but it will likely be the best situation for a few more months as Tesla comes up with solutions to move more CT. If I waited any longer, my life situation may change significantly so I decided not to wait longer for more price changes. Now that I am in my CT I absolutely love it, and you should buy one when the price/situation is right for you.

That is just what I would do at the supercharger, and save the money. A Cybertruck is a great place to chill out. ?

I took my unit into the service center yesterday for all recall issues. After a long conversation with the rep there he told me that Tesla is launching a single motor CT this year. They are expecting (in his opinion) a huge sale of single motor units. We did discuss FSC for these 'Johnny come lately" buyers and I did express that that incentive to me was an insult. I wasn't hurt by the offer for FSC on a Y purchase even though I purchased one just before the offer. It is only like months...not lifetime. A spare tire is an incentive. Free LIFETIME supercharging is a reward. I am still somewhat PO. But perhaps the single motor CT will be a killer item and outsell many other truck sales and stock will go up.

Single motor will absolutely sell like hot cakes! Almost everyone I know who needs a truck for doing truck things would buy CT if the price is reduced by $20K. It’s almost a no brainer. People underestimate the perks of maintenance free EV trucks that can be powered on solar! On top of that, something that has vaulted 6’ bed with dent resistant metal body is just icing on the cake!

I sent my letter to Austin TX last week. Haven’t heard anything. It probably got tossed in the circular file.

I’m not saying I never would buy another Tesla if they don’t provide free supercharging at this point. But I most certainly will not be the first in line and may not get one for a year after a new model comes out. The flipside is that if they do provide Free supercharging for our cyber trucks, I will most certainly be first in line and they will have gone a long way in promoting customer loyalty at least with me.
