Rear driver panel bent - cost to repair?

Hi , my Cyberbeast is only 2 weeks old and I just backed up into my fence. Embarrassed for sure.

What would this cost to repair? Before sending this to Tesla , wanted to see what roughly this would cost. Just needs to be bent back.

A youtuber had that entire panel replaced due to similar damage. I think it was $2100 or so and a few hours. Thinking it was DirtyTesla?

Well that makes it real easy to wrap those edges now.
Just be careful trying to wack it. You could mess up the mounting points for the panel.

I was told by a Tesla service writer to ‘carefully’ bend it back. No ‘wacking’ was mentioned.

There is a non-stainless steel structure behind the stainless skin, that has the mounting points to attach it to the rear casting. The stainless panel is bonded to it. Just 'bending' it back in place won't fix the delaminated bond. I backed into the side of my house and did something very similar (but also damaged my bumper). The entire rear quarter panel gets replaced. I also had damage to the trim between the quarter panel and the tonneau. My total was about $3500.

if you dont want to do an insurance claim and handy, do a Tesla DIY parts replacement
