Yeah, the X beating the S in the 1/4? Something was massively wonky.Looks like the S had a bad start too. Would be nice to see this done again in better conditions
Beast has higher air resistance plus lower top speed.Beast seems slow against its smaller siblings, never realized X was that fast..
You’re just gonna hit that 130 mph limit pretty quick. We lost to a M3P? That’s disheartening.
Beast had good start every time. Did it lose to X because of the speed limit? You’re just gonna hit that 130 mph limit pretty quick.
I don’t think my CB should beat my S Plaid or the X; but no way that X should’ve beat that SPlaid!Beast had good start every time. Did it lose to X because of the speed limit?
Well, they put the professional driver (Sam - he also hates electric cars) in the slowest car, but all of those guys own various supercars and are, at least, competent amateur racers.all the drivers aren't professional-their skills may differ in a big small way-hence, questionable result.
I think that’s possible - Yanni does screw up frequently when he’s not driving a Lambo. But, remember their race is to a half mile, so, that speed limit is definitely going to show up and he looks like he’s where he should be with a 0 to 60 at 2.6 seconds until the limit hits.Just saw this video and something is fishy. I don’t think Yanni launch it correctly and/or put it in beast mode. I’ve seen plenty of videos on YT where CB made the quarter mile in 10 not 12 seconds. I looked up the numbers for 3P and it’s not as good as CB. Even if CB has a limiter it wouldn’t matter in the quarter. Maybe after the quarter.
Worse yet? That’s a UK Hyland M3P which is about as fast as a US pre-Hyland M3P. That’s why I settled on keeping my ‘20 M3P instead of getting a Cyberbeast; practically, it’s really not that much faster [than my M3P].We lost to a M3P? That’s disheartening.
