Age old Tesla conundrum: Creeping closer and closer to my order date. I know that once I take delivery I’m not to ever look at pricing again (this is our 2nd Tesla). In my area in the inventory there is one new 2024 Foundation Series AWD for 89.9k. It comes with FSD, lifetime supercharging, lifetime premium connectivity.
Would you get this with whatever lower VIN and possibly lower quality or a newly spec’ed 2025 AWD with the big wheels, all weather mats, and likely FSD transfer from our M3? For whatever price that comes to?

As someone with a 10k VIN that has had minimal issues, if I were wanting a white interior AWD with All Terrain tires, I would go Foundation. FSD+white+tires > price difference before accounting for the free supercharging.

7.5k not an option (un)fortunately due to income. thought about that for tires but not a fan of storing 4 huge tires somewhere that will never get changed

That would be great! Im waiting as long as possible before ordering. I’ve had a reservation since 2020 so I’ve managed to save enough to buy whatever outright, so the only APR deal that would convince me would be 0%.

Then Foundation. You can swap white for black later (or there is one black demo FS truck).

I’ll just keep whatever interior I get. I’ll get used to it. But: white FS interior means dash/door white correct? Seats are always black? Not sure I could do white seats, lol.

12k VIN, nearly one year old. no issues. Get lifetime connectivity and free supercharging, it’s the exact same vehicle. That’s free money for as long as you run it.

Do we think there will be added incentives for June end of quarter?
Unfortunately, "we" here at the forum don't know for sure. It could go either way.

The case for end-of-quarter incentives: 2Q 2025 is shaping up to be another soft quarter for Tesla sales, so the numbers could use a boost. Sales were particularly weak in 1Q 2025, but that could be explained by the unavailability of the Model Y, due to factory retooling for the "Juniper" refresh. That explanation is no longer viable, so Tesla needs to do something to show that vehicle sales are recovering, and that there is no ongoing collapse in demand.

The case against end-of-quarter incentives: Tesla is transitioning away from vehicle manufacturing -- Elon is betting the company on FSD/AI/robotics instead. And so the only thing that matters in 2Q 2025 is the rollout of Unsupervised FSD robotaxis in Austin. The success or failure of Unsupervised FSD will have a big impact on the price of Tesla stock -- but the quarterly vehicle sales (whether good or bad) won't make a difference, so why bother trying to pump them up?

I’d trade up. I have a 2024 AWD picked up in Feb 2025 with VIN52k and had a lot of issues with my parking brake (spent 30 days in SC in first 70 days, but has been resolved. I would in a heartbeat pay the ~$16k e tra for a foundation series with those bonuses.

Every month that passes the sweeter the incentIves will get for leftover 2024 models.

Tesla will do whatever it takes to blowout all 2024 Cybertruck inventory before 2026 rolls around. That’s only 218 days away.

Come on. Free gas for as long as you own the truck? No brainer. If there is anything wrong with the lower vin number (which there isn’t) , it’s a warrantee issue.
