Is there something she really wants to happen you ordinarily wouldn’t agree with?
Make that thing happen and then ask her to agree to this right after. ?
Spoken like a man happily married for a while now.

I got nothing for my FS AWD Cybertruck. After putting it through it's paces for over a year, whoever wants it would have to either offer me a little more than the cost to replace it with a new one, similarly equipped (to cover taxes and licensing) or they would have to pry it from my cold, dead hands! This is by far the best truck I've ever owned. It's not even close.

I did notice most Cybertruck buyers are in no hurry to sell theirs either, or trade it in. There is nothing else in it's class that is this good.

Absolutely. There is joy in accepting how life and relationships work. Compromise happens either when nobody wins or you both do.

Preach brother. No way I would be doing this for anything other than a Cybertruck that I perceive as marginally better than mine because of the free SC.
I did give some thought to a beast. This was my chance to do it over. In the end it’s just not me.

Actually no, I don't say no. And she doesn't either, she just gives me crap about it when I buy something frivolous. Like a truck one year after I bought a truck.

So. Here we are after the 30th and the 0% APR remains so I guess this is going down. Scheduled my delivery on the 10th.
Still no word from the trade-in department.
On a camping trip with the kids but when I get back I’ll take the stripe and muffin off and resend photos. Other than that personalization it’s honestly pristine.
Thought about sending them a link to that torque bit.
Good idea? Bad idea? Or do they honestly not give enough of a shit to read it?
I’m favoring option c.
Just wanted to see if anyone had thoughts.

I have an answer. Bummer for the next owner. It’s nice work. High quality materials applied by a master. Was just gonna remove the stripe and muffin. Rest is magnets.
1800 bucks is 1800 bucks though.

So short sighted of them. A new buyer may be attracted to it, and it coukd always be removed later. Oh well.

Glad to hear they finally got back to you. Honestly, I expected more as mine was a $2100 difference, but, as you said, $1800 is $1800,. My stuff only took me about 2hrs to remove, so $1000 is an hourly rate for my labor, I accepted happily..
Congrats on things moving forward.

So FYI, my offer went from $66900 to $67,300 after wrap removal. So NOT $1800.
I did add some miles on my 4th of July camping trip but under 1000 miles total difference.

Holy crap. I mean 1000mi is a good bit, but a $1400 difference seems excessive. Did you ask them to explain why after telling you the other number?
