I've driven backwards so much for work that I don't even mind the small window. Still wish they made it able to switch from normal to digital but it doesn't seem like a real problem for me. Something I'll judge fully when I get my truck.

It's seems to me that all the naysayers never actually used the mirrors. They just looked at the pictures and came to false conclusions.
They work great for me.

Agreed.. I do like driving around with the tonneau cover open. I much prefer it. local driving and even local highway driving isn't really effecting range much or at all. And truthfully I don't care. Out for a 300+ mile road trip, I'll close the cover.

I open the vault every time I leave the house, just so I can use the mirror lol
One small flaw in the CT design. The lower bed storage area, should have a lock. So that stuff inside is secure when vault open. I'd leave the vault open permanently

Yep. Agree with this.
I cannot open the bed storage compartment when the tailgate is closed.

Thats odd. I can
it will technically open with the tailgate closed, but it’s not easy to get you hand on the lever to open it. I have given up every time and opened the tailgate first. But I suppose I could open it if I tried hard enough.

Then there goes security and aerodynamics.

From previous owners talking about how small the rear view mirror was I prepared myself to remove it completely after I got my truck. I would angle the rear view mirror in my M3 up and use the camera view to condition myself to look at the center screen for that information. Worked like a charm.

What I wasn’t prepared for is the CT rear view mirror actually being smaller than small. It was tiny lol. Took it off anyway because I much prefer driving with the vault covered. I’ve never actually seen the view through the back window with the mirror and vault open. It still took time to NOT look at the area where the mirror was, but that’s gone away also.

I tow pretty frequently and can’t use the rear camera towing because my boat blocks the view so I’ve gotten pretty used to using my mirrors. The 4 wheel steering of the CT makes backing up a trailer so easy it’s unreal. The micro adjustments you can make without completely pulling forward and resetting makes all the difference.
