I have the same problem . Vibration on driver door at high speeds . Checked tires balancing etc still happens and more pronounced with a crosswind . Suspect this is the issue . Did you have the same problem at high way speeds that made them replace the doors
Bang it with the side of your fist on the outside when parked in the center of the door. Does it rattle then?

As soon as you hit 80mph it would start vibrating

I had mine since 8/24 no door rattles. 20k miles. No squeaks no rattles. And I don't like vibrations and sounds very sensitive too them.

Good info, thank you.

I had both front doors replaced under warranty on my FSCB - in my case there was some delamination causing an internal support to rattle against the door skin. This was on a vin 39XXX - my SC said there was a run of them with this issue.
Same with my beast. 20k vin

Did the bang test as you suggested and was positive for right drivers door . Clear rattle .. I don’t hear this rattle at high speeds though .
Thanks for the advice .
What’s next ask Tesla to replace the door ?

Anyone had their whole door replaced ?

I haven’t but have read from other posts on this forum that the door was replaced only to have the rattle appear after several months. So, the glue they’re using is failing or from an old batch of doors or they’re not applying enough?

So far, my read on this is a replacement door is not a permanent fix.

Mine rattles when closing but no other negative effects (for now?).

Thanks for the update but I clearly have this vibration at highway speeds . Even the left outside rear view mirror vibrates . Just don’t get the sound of the rattle when you do the door bang test at the high speeds

It’s just disappointing with this glue usage and also with the rear contrails which is held together with 3m tape look alike . (Mine blew off with an irate car driver behind me ) It’s just not the quality I would have expected from Tesla . I just haven’t seen these type of issues with all the cars I have owned .

Mine 3/25(68xxx) has this issue since it delivered on May. I only noticed the driver-side mirror vibration, but the passenger-side was very solid, so I back to SC they replaced the mirror.

Issue had not solved, after that I realized the whole door is vibrating when driving 80+mph.

But SC schedule waiting is at least one-month. Do they have plans or method to resolve door vibration now?

I have 2 CT's and both have the weird 75-85MPH vibration on the drivers door mirror (yet, not passenger) - this is separate from the door internal rattle (fist bump test rattle) in which I had doors changed over on one CT. New doors does not fix the rattling driver side mirror.

I am guessing since almost everyone I have heard from says the left door vibrates / driver side mirror rattles @ speed (lean your left knee on door panel on the highway, betting you will feel the vibe @ speed) this is a deeper harmonics/aero issue.

One of my SC visits changed the driver side mirror for just the speed rattle, which it did not fix, and did state in notes that engineering is aware of the driver mirror rattle and is currently working on a solution.

I agree . The vibration at high speed with the arm on the side rest . It’s very pronounced . In a normal car that never happens and if it does you thinking gross wheel balancing issue , second wheel alignment or tire foam separation . Like all the thoughts are around the tires . My concern is tires are all good and yet this vibration continues …

Theo only time I have experienced this before in the past (not a cybertruck ) is when the tire wheel nuts weren’t adequately tightened and I stopped the car and realized the wheel was about to completely fly off …

So, does this fix the vibration at high speeds or just the rattle when closing/bumping the doors?

I did a short test drive, only got up to 65 and did not notice any vibration. On top of that the cabin seems quieter but that may be placebo. I’ll do 100 tomorrow and give feedback
