So, this is the root cause and fix for the door rattling when it shuts. I hope Tesla has fixed this in the current builds of the Cybertruck...and has a fix for all of us where this is occurring.

My driver door now rattles...started maybe 2-3 months ago (got mine in December 2024). It's a little annoying but not enough for me to schedule a service appointment since I've read the current solution is to replace the entire door, which may not have the glue issue fixed.

I hope a production refinement at the factory has eliminated door rattles. This procedure should not be necessary on a $70k + vehicle.

I had both front doors replaced under warranty on my FSCB - in my case there was some delamination causing an internal support to rattle against the door skin. This was on a vin 39XXX - my SC said there was a run of them with this issue.

I had the same issue. Got the door replaced twice but ended up surrendering the truck last month.

I have the same problem . Vibration on driver door at high speeds . Checked tires balancing etc still happens and more pronounced with a crosswind . Suspect this is the issue . Did you have the same problem at high way speeds that made them replace the doors

Issue vibration at highway speeds ?

No, it was a loose 'twang' sound when hitting the front door with the side of your fist.

Imagine a piece of flat metal making a vibration noise against another. I should have recorded the sound, but the tech at the SC tested the same way I did.

Side of the fist against the door should be a solid thud - any other sounds noticed then something came loose (usually the lamination of the two pieces according to the SC tech)
