Good question! It’s not very thick. Like maybe a millimeter or so but I guess it depends on the tolerances of the vault divider.how thick is this lining? will it effect the use of the vault divider? this was just my first thought I had seeing this.
Not a ton of friction. Pretty easy to slide stuff around manually. I just like the it doesn’t slide as much as the original bed while driving around. How much friction does Rhino produce with stuff, including your knees? Due to the high side walls, sliding stuff is going to be preferred way to load/unload the CT.
You totally convinced me... I have Linex in all my trucks. It looks pretty damned great on the CT. The spray in bed liner is the best... it can take a hell of a beating and if it somehow gets messed up, they can patch it for like $75.Good question! It’s not very thick. I avoided the divider due to the issues people had with it but apparently they’ve fixed it?
Sorry this doesn’t help! Wish I could answer the question.
I prefer the lining over the mat because it’s been my experience that the mats don’t really stay in place when I’m pushing things into or pulling things out of a truck bed. The mats seem to go with the object. Just my 2 cents!Do you think the lining is worth it compared to getting a bed mat? I like that the lining protects the sides of the bed too but the bed mat is a lot less expensive.
really? i wouldn't think it would increase the value but i definitely wouldn't think it would hurt it.The only thing to consider is how long you are keeping the truck and what you will be using it for. I got dinged about $500 for resale of my Lightning for non-factory modification + $800 cost to put in Line-X. I hauled a lot of stuff, so maybe bed damage could've dinged me $1,000 anyway and I really loved the Line-X. But if I didn't ever haul anything prone to denting a bed, I would've been better off without the spray.
If you plan to keep it a while, go nuts! I always liked the color sprays. Black is classic though, so if you want to be safe or plan to resell before long, that's always a solid option.really? i wouldn't think it would increase the value but i definitely wouldn't think it would hurt it.
What do y'all think about custom colors? i was thinking about doing a silvery, gunmetal, or graphite grey.
Good price. Was $737. A bit more than the usual Rhino Lining since they had to apply an epoxy first before the bed.
Seemed pretty reasonable to me
I was planning on Line-X'ing the lower plastic pieces (bumpers/fendors, lower rocker plastic) + the bet top trim....but line x wouldnt do it, said doesnt work as well on plastic - called multiple shops...maybe Rhino is different, will have to call.I’m also leaning toward doing this to the bumpers and fenders.
