Have you set your update preferences to “advanced”? Is your truck connected to reliable wi-fi when it is parked?

Yes. I am also on Early Access Program. Yes to strong wifi!

I don’t know that there is any way to hurry that up. Perhaps someone here has some tricks to try with resets and such but short of the things you have already done, maybe the only other thing that’s worked for me before is a service appointment for something unrelated.
Mine usually comes back up to date after those. Not sure if that’s just from being on SC WiFi or if they actually do something to update it. Just an observation.

Just accepted the 38.8 update.

Interesting that 38.8.5 still does not show on stats.tessie.com.

I don’t know that there is any way to hurry that up.

I only know of two ways that reliably result in getting the earliest updates: Go to work for Tesla and be part of their fleet or make a bunch of videos/social media posts so you get noticed as an influencer. Other than that it is either random or based on some internal Tesla algo.

With my MS in the early days, a visit to the SC for service or sometimes just to park in their lot and get on their wifi resulted in getting an update pushed out. Not so much anymore, at least with the CT but they will get you up to current if you got hung up on an outdated update.

Did you ask them to check why your truck isn't updating? They can remote in and see why.
