Well, first drive…

-Speed profiles toned down. The whiner folks on X have really done it. It’s like each speed profile moved left one or two slots. I’m now getting passed on mad max on the thruway, hurry is like 5 over, standard was 1mph under the limit often.

-3 brake stabs on one drive. I’ve not had any on 14.1.7. Maybe anecdotal and maybe I just need to clean my cameras.

-NAV seems weird as other others have mentioned. My truck no longer navigates into my company parking lot and backs into the charger like it did on 14.1.7. It’s behaving like it did on V13 in this regard, just aimless.

I hope some of the above was just a fluke from this one drive. I’ll clean my cameras and we’ll see how it does on the way home.

It’s certainly very smooth otherwise. I feel like stop and go at stops signs is smoother.

Just got v14.2 last night, trying it out this morning heading into midtown Atlanta for a meeting. FSD in morning rush hour is such a quality of life improvement :)

No. Not, yet.

Typically the masses don't see the initial release, we typically get a point release so 14.2.2 or above.
Got mine 11/23. I was in the fsd beta program years ago but didn’t think that carried over to my cybertruck.

I doubt it did. A pretty large group of all Tesla owners received this one. A good surprise.

Just saw on X…..FSD 14.2.0 just got released. NO idea why there is a 14.2.0 vs. 14.2.

Maybe the 14.2.0 is a slight update to the map/AI connection??

Short test this morning on my 3 mile drive to work. For whatever reason the truck got my work address completely wrong. First time for this. Weird. Otherwise very smooth!

14.2 has AI and navigation mapping disconnect! Be careful. 🫣

I don’t have it but read on X. I will probably bypass this update.
What does that mean?

Apparently, FSD drives different route than what the map shows. It now takes weird routes or take wrong turns.

Bizarre. I imagine they will put the kibosh on that rather quickly with a “minor fix” update.

My review: Very timid. An egregious number of unnecessary lane changes and more unneeded turn signals in two drives that I’ve seen in all my years of using FSD across multiple vehicle vehicles. As usual unfortunately it works better on S3XY than on CT.

ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS ROUTING! To the point that it makes FSD difficult to use from departure because I can’t allow it to take me the dumb way that it wants to and I have to wait until I get past that point to engage it. The net result is undoing more driving than I should have to to overcome bad routing which can’t be easily modified on the fly.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again the vehicle needs to respond to input from the driver if I say I wanna make a turn by signaling it needs to obey that unless unsafe. I already don’t have the range that I need — I can’t waste any of it doing idiotic city tours!!! 😡
