That seems a little short for reaching all the way to the bottom of the tunnel, but worth a try. If I knew there was a drain hole or exit in the bottom, I would consider blowing it out or maybe flushing it out. I do not want to make matters worse, so I may just leave it for Tesla. Thanks.

The internet was invented for subject lines like this. Thanksgiving won't get any better.

This is the CT version of snakes and cats in engine bays, only more real and gritty. Suck on that F150.

I hope you shared this on Reddit!
I never use Reddit. I am sure they would get a kick out of it.

I wonder if this would be rigid enough to guide down there. It says ideal for hair, wonder if they thought about rodent hair when they wrote that :ROFLMAO: :

AFAIK, the tonneau tunnel is directly over the rear of the HV pack, which is open to the sides (that's how the cat got inside, and probably the rat, too). If you stuck a hose down the tonneau tunnel, you should see water dumping out the bottom. So you can probably just flush out the debris.

In the case of the cat, the lower panel of the bed was removed for access, it's just 10 bolts:

This was the same solution when someone's kid dropped an iPad down the tonneau slot lol:

Awesome info, thanks. I asked Grok about the garden hose flushing and Grok said bad idea but knowing what info you provided it seems a decent solution. I may wait for all the nastiness to dry up completely before the flush. Thanks again and Happy Thanksgiving!

Well it happened to me. Smelt something dead coming from the bed, next day flies were collecting around the tonneau tunnel opening and then I was able to get a camera down there and confirm. I scheduled a service appointment to address this and a few other things while there. I really want Tesla to confirm no damage that needs to be corrected (thinking chewed cables). No errors from the truck so nothing obvious. I did a quick search and did not find any similar post (maybe I missed them). Anyone else seen/heard/have advice? Thanks.

Did you try playing a magical pipe to get it out of there?

Some inexpensive ozone generators are available on Amazon. It would help
knock down the odor while you wait for your appointment…
