Interesting, maybe they made some revisions on my 2026. I'm coming from a F150 Raptor which was known to have a very good supple suspension and the AWD CT doesn't seem lackluster at all. In fact; my wife and I drove CT's and Lucid Gravity's with the triple stage air suspension back to back and the CT held its own extremely well. The 2026 CT was also quieter than the $120K Lucid Gravity which I found extremely surprising. My 2026 AWD CT handles the washboard dirt roads to my house better than my Raptor or her high trim Jeep Grand Cherokee L by far.

After doing a double A-B comparison, my wife and I looked at each other and for $40K less than the Gravity the AWD CT was a no-brainer. Now I wish the CT had the Lucid Gravity seats, those were amazing!
Agreed. In no way have I found the air suspension lackluster. I find this to be the most comfortable suspension of any car I’ve owned or driven.

I ordered the $79k Cybertruck on 2/5, VIN was assigned on 2/7, and delivery is scheduled for 3/6.

Now Tesla just announced the $59k AWD version (no air suspension), and I’m honestly hesitating. I’m currently leased at $1,190/month with $3,000 down, and the new one would be about $980/month with the same down payment.

It’s basically a $210/month difference for air suspension and whatever else comes with the higher trim.

I’m close to delivery and not sure if I should stick with my order or switch. What would you do in this situation?
Kinda in the same boat except I'm trading in a 2025 Model YDM with an FSD license. They gave me a pretty good price for the paid for Y and with the FSD transfer, it makes sense to buy the 2026 DM primarily due to those circumstances. I also really like the air suspension and the versatility it brings so I'm staying the course.

Also, I awoke to this 10 day nonsense that once again casts a long shadow over the Cybertruck as a viable long term product. It demonstrates an irrational shoot from the hip management style that exemplifies the current Tesla. Of course, if this is just part of the plan to no longer make vehicles with steering wheels then I suppose, there is method to this madness.

Us: OK, the new trim is decontented, but it's still a way better deal than the old RWD! Unlike the RWD, it has dual motors and AWD and a motorized tonneau cover -- yet it costs $10,000 less! It's almost too good to be true!

Elon: Only for the next ten days.

Us: Uh-oh. It was too good to be true, wasn't it?

Or while we're spit balling here, this could mean it will be discontinued in 10 days and this is a way to clear out inventory 😂
I thought of that, kind of like the "Foundation being buffed off" saga
Buuuuuut upgrading the bed and removing the air suspension from already produced trucks would be nuts :)

Very interested to see what happens after 10 days, can't see them raising the price 10k
The % of people that would then waitFOREVER to buy one would be very high "waiting for the 60k version to come out again"

Wonder what performance change CT lost to change tow capacity.
The loss of tow capacity presumably comes down to the coil suspension and 18" wheels/tires. The frame, motors, etc are the same as the old AWD.

They don’t list it. The RWD version they made with coil springs was set at about 8” clearance. Which is a little more than most sedans….which is perfect for highway driving.
Whats the difference with the battery, is it smaller or whats the effect it causes?

Love it! This is for all of you who have been on here for the last 5 years complaining about the price. It's time to put up or shut up. $59k is chump change for the only EV Truck on the market, yes ONLY EV TRUCK. Everything else is that claims to be en EV Truck is just a joke. .

Order NOW before the price skyrockets in 10 days! #T$LA

I did a similar comparison and felt the same hence my 2026 DM order. In my area the two show rooms were 1/4 mile apart and they let me take them for two hour test drives. I'm tall (6'5") and found the Gravity not as comfortable as the Cybertruck for longer drives. Surprisingly, I prefer the low polygon SS refrigerator look of the CYbertruck as opposed to the minivan look of the Gravity. As well engineered as the Gravity is, it can't hold a candle next to the Cybertrucks engineering accomplishments, looks be damned. Plus I'm PPF wrapping the CT to get this exact look which excludes me from ever doing hard core off roading

The RWD Cybertruck ground clearance was 10" and so is the new DM AWD model. It's stated clearly on Tesla's site.

Tesla needs to keep this price for at least 6 months. It will take time for this model/features/price to filter through the buying population; only Tesla Cybertruck people will see/act on a 10-day window. It is possible that a 10-day teaser could backfire.
