You can, but Cybertruck is more fun

Delta Pro Ultra 21 kW 90kWh for $36k
Three inverters with five batteries each and Smart Panel 2

EcoFlow Delta Pro Ultra X 24kW 120kW for $54k
Two inverters with 10 batteries each and Smart Panel 3
Can expand to 36kW 180kWh
Just curious. Those are the unit prices. What about installation costs? I have heard its about the same as the unit cost (but I only have direct experience with other items).

This looks pretty great and if it had AI5 I would get it. But no new Teslas for me until AI5
Whatever ... I do not think that AI5 is going to have an appreciable impact on our trucks. If Tesla can deliver unsupervised FSD on AI4 then all will be fine. Except for some annoying foobars I think that FSD works pretty well now. Why do you think that AI5 is worth waiting for?

Oh received first email…don’t like the extra $2109.00 Tesla makes off every new vehicle on destination fee and order 💸 deposit.

OK, but don't all auto makers have that fee (or something similar)?

Yeah but 10 days in “Elon Time” is like six months
For deliveries, yes, but I wouldn't bet on the for pricing. That said, I still think it is folly to bring out this trim at $60K for less than 6 months. They need to give people who don't follow Tesla news every day time to hear about it, think about it, find the money, and buy it.

Exactly. Both will get you from A to B in a shiny triangle. Depends what other comforts and conveniences you want. I look at it the other way, the basic version is lacking a lot of solid features that I wouldn't want to live without.
Somber mood today at rivian and scout.
Tell them not to worry, only 9 more days till ... errr I don't know what will happen.

I say the hell with them. If their not paying attention it's their loss. Besides, I hear the Qatar market will be HUGE!

Maybe yours but not mine. My vin is just under 10K and I get small amounts of water at the tonneaux/tailgate interface but really none elsewhere in the bed. So its not bone dry but it is acceptable.
Mine is fine for hand tools, sports equipment, etc.
But transporting soft luggage, electronics, etc is a NO-GO with how wet and dusty it gets back there.
The 3part cover on my Tacoma was WAY dryer and that thing was a $199 addon so the fact that the VAULT gets dusty and wet is a bummer.

Based on your analysis and sentiment, the basic model is exactly what you need. A lot of your reasoning on individual items says you don't want it. You missed towing but if you didn't mention it's likely you don't need it. Order soon!
Good call yes I do not tow anything and do not need the payload. My only issue would be if they dropped the price of the premium to $70K, I would definitely pay $10K more for it, but $20K doesn't make any sense to me.

Lots of people will tell you that they've been jerked around by traditional car dealerships. And I don't dispute that this happens. Unfortunately it seems like the direct-to-consumer model can be abused as well.

I was debating ordering a what now is called "Premium" Cybertruck in the next few months. I test drove one again last month. I was an original, but my Model S was under water plus I decided to wait out all the issues and the Market. I got crushed on my model S for being impatient and didn't want to go through that again.

This model is really tempting me, here is what I consider the value of the items missing, am I missing anything?

Wheels- $2500 (Already and option to get them, but I would likely get take-offs or even better aftermarket to make my truck unique. I prefer the extra sidewall on a truck so I would likely prefer 18" wheels)
Seats- $2000 (I have read from some the Cloth/textile are actually better, but the most I would pay for the fake leather is $2000)
Back Screen- $500 (I have it in my S and the only thing we have ever used it for is adjusting the temperature)
Vault Bed- $1500 (I am still not 100% of all the differences here, but the under-storage would be cool, but not needed. The Rail/track system I have had in multiple Ram trucks and never used it one time)
Ventilated Front Seats- $500 (I have read they do not work well, with cloth you really do not need them. That said I do use mine now and I would easily pay $500 for them)
Heated Rear Seats- $500 (Do not really care, but just put $500, my kids do use mine now in the S and Y)
Stereo- $2000 (This is something I would pay extra for if they offered it, but aftermarket if needed can solve this)
Tail-light Bar- $1000 (Seems like a lot, but I like this feature)
2 interior 120v outlets- $500 (We have them in cars today and have never used them, we use USB, but not outlets)
Air Suspension- $3000 (I have had air suspension on many Cars/SUV's/Trucks, it is a nice ride, but i never actually adjust it. I put it in one setting eventually and just leave it. That said I know I would like the entry mode it does automatically)

I feel those are all generous amounts and it still only gets to $14K

2 Questions
1- Am I missing anything?
2- Why buy the premium right now?
I think a lot of people overlook the value of active air suspension in a vehicle like this. If you're 4wheeling, you raise things up to protect the battery pack, etc. If you're towing on the highway, you lower things down. In between, that "active" air suspension keeps things level without your even thinking about it. Throw a pallet of whatever in the back, and it self levels on the way home from Home Depot. Throw a bunch of firewood in the bed and extra propane tanks on your RV when you go camping, and that hitch is at the same level as it was when you measured it for a "dry" trailer. It's magic!
