Good afternoon, friends, I'm still tuning my cybertruck. I would like to know your opinion and what you do in your cars.

Many of you who travel in the northern regions know that the side cameras get dirty. I decided to solve this problem in a simple way, by adding a "cap" for the camera.
I had to retype the part several times in order to get the right shape.

The result was not bad, this element really helps. I haven't been able to take a photo of a dirty car since it happened once, the weather has improved and the cameras aren't getting dirty yet.
On the Internet, I saw a video of people installing a side camera washer. I didn't like this solution, as in winter, wet snow will form in the lower part of the car.

How would you solve this problem? It seemed to me that this is the neatest solution, just add a cap that can be easily removed and installed.

That's a pretty good idea, can you come up with something for the rear camera?
The rear camera isn't that simple. I thought about it, but I came to the conclusion that I need to install a camera washer.

I've reworked the shape so that the part doesn't interfere with the autopilot or obstruct visibility. Yes, I can give you a printable file.
To install on the right side, you'll need to mirror the part.

The short part is installed underneath, and the long part is installed above the camera. If you succeed, please send a photo of the installation.

I like the idea. Off-roading though I think you will break them off fairly often. I know sticks like to hit against my fenders.

I love your idea for the camera.
How I would solve your problem on the fenders.

I didn't even know rally racing had such a solution. It's very interesting. :)

Yes it is possible, but it is a very small and very cheap part that can be installed in a second, so I printed out a few kits and if something happens I just install a new one.

FYI: I had one. This is an email I sent, and they were kind to want to replace it, but it doesn't solve the problem I was experiencing. From Support:
Thank you for contacting us. We understand how frustrating it must be to find the rear camera view affected in a way you didn’t expect, especially as the installation video doesn't explicitly show or discuss the expanded (square) rear view and its limitations. While the product page does mention possible hazing or a vignette effect in the corners due to the design and Tesla's camera software, your point about the installation video’s clarity is valid. Would you like to try a replacement so you can try again? My Email:
I recently purchased the Superhydrophobic Camera Cover for Cybertruck (v2), and am experiencing a significant issue: the corners of the rear camera view are darkened in the expanded (square) view when driving, which obstructs the field of view. While your product page mentions some hazing, the installation video only demonstrates the rear camera view and does not show or mention this issue in the rear mirror view, which is critical for driving safety. Had I known about this obstruction, I would not have purchased the product.
To assess the issue, I had to remove the cover, which has now rendered the sticky side used and the product non-reusable. I’d like to return the product, but I believe the $6.20 return shipping cost should be waived, as the issue wasn’t adequately communicated in the installation video, and removing the cover was necessary to confirm the obstruction. Please let me know how we can resolve this. I’ve been a satisfied customer otherwise and hope we can find a fair solution.
Also, my friend at Tesla said He wouldnt want that on his Tesla for the fact that FSD could be effected visualy. and be a safety issue. Also, not sure if there has been a revision since last year when I purchased it.

I have almost 9000 miles on Fsd , not only no issues using the rear cover, but less Fsd warnings because it can’t see out of the rear camera when not using the camera cover during heavy rain.
