Ken is correct.. it may not be obviously noticeable, but its there. You can scroll back and see an earlier post i did with a video to see how to test it for yourself.
I have been contacting @Hansshow Technology for months about this and they keep giving me the same brush off answer "our super techs are working on it and we'll contact you when there is a fix".

Hopefully someone from Hansshow reads these forums. Perhaps having people like me hold off on buying their products may incentivize them to fix the problem? I want the mirror after having been mirror less for a couple of years, but not at the cost of losing speakers. Nor do I want to put on fuses and splices.

Why does no one make a USB C to 5v USB C? so we can just plug it into our usb c port in the truck? I would rather power the camera from there vs tapping into the trucks wiring

I have tagged them multiple times and they ignore it. Hopefully people dont buy it until its fixed.

A lot of people just dont know they have the issue because Its not super noticeable that the speaker is dead, but it is. Go into the service test settings, test the speakers and you'll see for yourself.

It’s working flawlessly now and had survived the ride to AZ 2 weeks ago when it was pretty hot. I don’t use the front camera. I’ll check service menu and report back. What speaker issues are people noticing?

The one listed as 25mm tweeter right in the photo above is the one that won't play sound after installing the Hansshow harness, you can use the service menu to try and send sound to it and nothing will happen. Then try the one on the left and it will work just fine for you. (or should)

With the right pin extraction tool you could pull one of the unused pins (4, 5, or 12), cut the wire, move it to pin 8, and splice it to pin 8 wire (red & yellow power wire).

For whatever reason Hansshow missed the splice on pin 8 to get the pass through but they did pass through the three unused pins that could be used to fix the harness.

I didn’t like the audio line tap and went a different direction.

It’s a bummer all the YouTubers get all of this stuff free pedal it as “works” yet have no clue what they are doing to their cts. I’m talking about Rednav and all the others. They install every item they get and say it’s 10 out of 10 and then disappear. I knew the 2.5 camera would be the very first mod for my 26 beast but alas it’s broken and likely will always be. As a bonus I overhead the Tesla service advisor telling an owner of a 24 ct they would not service until they removed the mirror and wiring. Has anyone else been told this ?

All this Chinese made junk is not UL tested let alone circuit tested to determine faulty wiring.
Yet a lot of people fall for this DTC marketing via influencers on YouTube. What a waste of money and time.

Thank you for this instructions! Yes indeed my right tweener speaker is not working. Though honestly I can’t really tell the different listening to music with my non musical ears
