Thank you for posting this. Heim Planet did some serious material engineering with their tents ( rated for high winds etc ) , their land tents do not use an electric air pump and come with manual pumps. This is because of the chance of popping the structure. There is an Airpump, the HOTO, that can match a nice 8PSI flow, but that many Cybertent users love, but again, most folks never quite understood that Heim Planet does NOT recommend any airpumps with ANY of their tents by design. Also, THANK YOU for posting this stuff. Cybergear i always felt was giving knock off vibes with much of what they sell. I always felt everything from there was very cheaply made and very Temu vibes.

I was actually going to buy this tent, and when I saw the images they posted, I was like....oh, it looks like a trash bag over a knock off copy Heim Planet structure. The material they spoke of in the original render was not the material used in the final product. That right there was a HUGE red flag. In the renders, they showed this nice thick rain fly material, and the final product was far, far below anything Heimplant would ever be associated with. You have confirmed my suspicions and this confirms what i feared most about this tent.

It seems to be a very low-quality knockoff.

We have one of these tents and have found non of these customers issue with the product. Ours has been used a dozen plus times without any of the issues noted.

Specifically, to deflate, remove both nozzle inputs, it falls flat, I get up on the tent and push down any high spots, then roll it up, to the top back on it.

Not sure if we will resell it, because it's a knock off (but not sure if it has a patent or not?), but honestly speaking if I bought one I would be totally happy with it.

Good news is that this Youtuber guy is coming to test it tonight and our CyberCamper. Hope he'll give real world test on camera without any preconceived notions.

Hope that helps.

Appreciate you sharing that. Good to hear it’s working well on your end.

My experience has been pretty different so far. I ran into sheared screws, missing parts, and mislabeled rails during the initial install, which made me pause before fully setting it up.

Sounds like there may be some variability between units, which could explain the mixed experiences people are reporting.

Curious to see how that YouTuber test goes real world use will be helpful for sure.

I think your unit looks more refined (possibly even a better build) based on the photos you shared.

On mine, the Velcro straps are inverted when folded, and the screws are noticeably poor quality. Side by side with the original Cybertruck Torx screws, the difference is pretty significant. Mine also arrived with a noticeable dent on the bottom.

I haven’t fully opened it yet, as I’m not completely confident in the overall quality or safety based on what I’ve seen so far.

Wish you all, sellers and customers alike, best of luck with these. Hopefully you can make this into a high value proposition for all concerned.
I won’t be buying one no matter what the “YouTuber” has to say because I’ve already paid Tesla $1000 more than the going rate for these and had it installed at a service center twice, but hopefully many others will buy it so you can recoup your investment.

Did this youtuber buy the tent and camper at full price from you or was this a test or review model that was given free or at a significant discount. Hes got 2.4mill subs, so that requires some full disclosure. You already have real world feedback, the dude posted pics of his issues.....

Its not my product, I have no skin in this game... We loaned Dan the tent to make his video, that's it. We told him to be honest, I have no idea what he will say and because I didn't ask I'm not selling that product.

My opinion, for what its is worth, is I had ZERO issues with the sample we purchased to look at reselling this tent. Easy set up and tear down, nice zippers, had minor improvements to Tesla awning IMHO.

I already have the CyberTent and I’d do it again tomorrow. This isn’t a good enough deal to make it remotely worth it.

I’m reading alot of bullshit on this post lmao. We live in a free market, where people can spend their money how they please. This posting persuaded me to go the OEM route, because this knockoff looks like shit and appears to be shit quality. Thank you OP for the writeup, and sorry that you spent a pretty good sum of money on it. I would hope cybergearco would let you return it and get a refund.

Are we confusing CybergearCO with CybertruckCO ?
Yeah actually this is a good point. Wonder why cybertruckco is commenting. The OP post referenced cybergearco…

Yea I was wondering the same.. Hes responding to the post. Yet he said he has nothing to do with the product. Then he said WE loaned the tent to the youtuber and seems concerned with the youtuber posting an unbiased review. So im confused. Is Cybertruck co and Cybergear co the same company? Sister company? Is one a Chinese knock off of the other?

Cybertruckco always seems like they sell pretty good stuff. Cybergearco not so much.

As I understand it, Cybertruckco, our beloved poway company was offered the opportunity to sell this Chinese thing in the US and agreed to do so.
Completely unrelated to name confusion with cybergear who happens to be a Chinese resale company sort of in the Tesstudio category.
Most likely, cybertruckco in poway received an inventory of these tents to mark up and sell at likely a very significant bulk discount and are giving or lending one to whoever the YouTuber is to review.
There is almost zero chance this isn’t seen as a perk by said YouTuber and the rest of the community no matter how it’s spun.
I’d much sooner believe the OP who appears to have no financial interest over anyone else.
Before this questionable at best decision, I’ve always known Cybertruckco to be an honest and reputable company selling quality products they mostly make themselves in house.
This move to flip Chinese shit for a markup, which they have been contemplating and executing for months is quite out of character for them.
