Yikes!!!! That's expensive. Is that for 6months? I hope its for 12 months, even then that almost a car payment right there. Time to move to Oklahoma, I guess. Lol
I need to do a better job shopping. Appreciate seeing what others are paying, definitely eye opening that I am paying so much.

I've been using Amica for the last few years and would recommend them. You can plug your info in on their home page and get an instant quote:

You all realize that your premiums are based on the amount of coverage right? Am I missing something here?

I guess the insurance details do matter

That is really dangerous coverage. You need the uninsured portion or endorsement to be 1 million as well. 100,000 might get you through a bad emergency room….

Interesting. I noticed you are carrying $1M CSL liability coverage. Is that tied to an umbrella policy or just personal preference for higher asset protection? Just curious how you arrived at that number.
Also noticed you have a very low deductible.

CSL just eliminates specific caps on single claims which is useful.
but yes, those deductibles are very low and still pretty cheap

just remember, one thing folks. You umbrella policy does not have an endorsement automatically for uninsured or underinsured liability so make sure you check with your agent that is the most important part of an umbrella

Does anyone in California have Tesla insurance with another brand of car as well? I thought I had read (perhaps years ago?) that Tesla insured other vehicles. Tesla informed me they did not insure Honda CR-V when I tried to insure AWD in 2024. Than in advance for any replies, Paul

I am paying $148 a month for my Model Y - State Farm.
I also have a Model 3 with State Farm ($160 a month)
and a 2015 Chevy Volt with State Farm ($100 a month).

i have asked State Farm twice for a quote on the Cybertruck.

I didn’t think too much about this, I’ve used these numbers on all my cars for the last 20 years. Low deductibles are always nice.

Geez my State Farm is double that and I have no tickets and 4 cars plus home and business with them.
State Farm is not a good company like they once were. Go Allstate better coverage and real protection unlike State Farm.

I can't speak for CA, but in VA, Tesla insures my other 2 ICE vehicles along with 2 Teslas.

Wow. I just completed Amica's online quote form and it was $399 mo. for me. That's with a perfect driving record and I'm 60yo. I chose not to bundle for the sake of just getting a quote on the CT. Insurance costs are all over the place these days.

Wow, that's waaaay more than I'm paying for my CT through them. But, it's bundled with a bunch of other stuff (another car, home, umbrella, etc).
