30,000 miles on factory tires without rotating

285/65 R20XL LTX Platinum. The only downside to these tires is that it is rated only for 115 MPH, instead of 130. However, I don’t ever remember going that fast, especially here in the US.

So they are smoother and quieter?

Being that the stock tires have a 50,000 mile warranty did anybody get any sort of credit?

Tire company will not warranty on tires from the Tesla install. that is what the tire places told me. Tried that on my Model 3. This time buying some from Priority tire . Found some for $1200 installed that have good rating.

So I went to a Goodyear store today and before I went, I got a warranty claim number. I had 18,500 miles and they essentially agreed to replace all four tires for 50% off and included road hazard warranty and installation so it’s there if you want.

I have the Pirelli AS tires. Not sure what the warranty is on them. I will have to check it out. How did you find the warranty information? Direct fromt he manufacturer?

How do you get a warranty claim number? I’m on my original Cyber tires and looking for new. I’m at ~25.5k miles and my treads are getting pretty worn down. Thanks.

Goodyear only gave me ~$410 towards new tires (1/32, 2/32, and 2x 4/32 at less than 29,000 miles). But, I used that credit at Discount Tire and bought some Michelin Defender LTX Platinums... They are SOOOO much quieter! I'll be curious to see how much more range I get out of them too.

My Scorpions are almost worn out at 17k miles. This is nuts.
I did look up that they come new with only 10/32 tread depth. Just crazy

Agree, pirellis ride great, range is great and traction on road has been very good too but man they wear fast.

Mine are at 18,000 and around 4/32 tread depth, was planning on replacing now but going to go a little bit more on them and get a different set for winter…..thinking of downsizing to 285/60/20 or 275/65/20 for more options

I'm just shy of 50k miles on the goodyear tires. Only rotated once at 15k miles, but noticed very even wear on all of the tires an decided to skip rotating them after.

Still got about 4.5mm of tread left on on average for all four tires. 95 percent of my driving in on highways. The inner and outer wear on them seem all about the same. Pretty surprised with how durable these tires are.

Only complaint I have is that mine have experienced the foam insert separation.
