I'm in for 1! I absolutely hate MyQ. I've subscribed to the paid service because I heard it was better, it's not. It's unreliable and I still carry my clicker for when MyQ sucks (which is always). I hope they eventually offer Homelink as an add on like in the M3/Y (My guess is it's a 3rd party part that runs on 12v and there are no 48v suppliers).

I used MyQ on my phone to open my door while FSD arrives. Now that FSD has relaxed it's nags it works fine and doesn't cost anything.

This hardware solution is nice for manual driving however.

you know, I never considered that bottom space on the Squircle as available add-on space, but after seeing your 3D print it's quite obvious that Tesla designed it with modability in mind!

I have a cheap HomeKit door opener, that I can just tell Siri to open the garage door(or use a control center toggle). And it works great and also give me other benefits, like night time automation for bedtime or checking if the door is open anytime. No subscriptions. There are android home versions of this as well.

Awesome idea! Did you have any issues programming it to your garage door opener? I looked on the Etsy site and don't see anything about how to program. Just curious before buying.

Also, does anyone know if the airbag could potentially grab this when deployed? Not sure if it deploys from the top or bottom of the steering wheel. Just a thought / concern.

Anyone else noticing the buttons on the door controls? Looks like manual rear view mirror adjustment controls. AI slop or early version of the CT?

Is this easily programmed?
Yes it is. Came with easy directions but as simple as programming universal remote.

No issues at all. It came with easy to read directions. It is as easy as programming universal remote or programming vehicle the old school way by hitting learn button on garage door opener or gate opener
how is it programmed?

None at all. Took maybe five minutes in total to program and install

would you prefer a video? If you mean foundation series cybeast as early version

if you mean cybeast foundation series as early version of CT then you are right. Would you prefer a video of the product working on my truck?
Round buttons, really? Huge miss on this… should be cyber square or cyber shaped button. At $72, the horrible cheap 3d printer finish needs to be OEM quality finish.
Bro why the hate? Someone comes up with something that you yourself didn’t think of or even can do and you throw shade? Mother not hug you enough so you have to hate on others. I doubt those of us with Ct care about 72 bucks if it fixes the issue of myQ and its subscription. The product works great and solves a need.
how is it programmed?
ame as programming your car or universal remote. Just hold two buttons down on. Remote, hit the learning button on the main opener and boom! It came with easy instructions and took maybe 5 min total to program and install.

šŸ˜‚ both pictures are sloppy ai generated on the esty posting. Who says I’m mad at a bad design OP, my 10 year daughter is the one who pointed out the bad design of 2 weird round buttons that sticks out. I own a foundation and pretty sure most of us owners care about a $72 design flaw. Our free remote in the center console works just fine.

Spectacularly cool and well integrated. I’ll buy that, thanks for sharing. And I agree MyQ works but it’s shit for integrating with anything including TeslaOS.
