Battery replacement delays

My CT has been sitting at a Tesla repair center here in Houston for about 4 weeks with an estimated completion date of 7/3. I was just informed that they still don’t really have any idea of when they will get another battery to replace the one that went out on my 2025 with 7500 miles! They told me they will contact me in about 10 days to update me.

Sorry to hear that. From stories on battery replacements from Tesla owners they do seem to take a bit longer than normal parts.

Same here, I have 8000+ miles on my CT 2025 and the High Voltage battery failed, Tesla service sent me a tow truck and gave me a loner with estimates of two weeks in service waiting for parts. It’s covered by the warranty. I was told over there that they start having many Cybertrucks with the same issues that requires replacing the battery. Maybe this is what caused the delay, I think? Anyways, I think soon that will need a recall, maybe!! I hope this pick up date will not extended and the fix will be final.
I attached a photo of the message you will see on the screen. Once you see this message, don’t drive anywhere, contact Tesla service immediately, they will override the waiting line and take the CT immediately for repair. The Tesla service action is fast although you will be pissed by what happened to your CT.

Same here; 3,236 miles on a ‘26 Premium. VIN 874xx. Scheduled service appointment for July 16 and app shows Parts in Transit.

No PCS Alerts, supposedly using the latest PCS without known issues. (10/25 build) Assuming the Voltage Sense Harness integral to battery pin/ connector issue.

which service center are you at? league city or Westchase?

Remanufactured battery or new? Ask. It sticks with the truck for life. If I had low miles I would be pissed to have reman battery part number on my truck for resale.

I did ask and they told me refurbished with new cells.

A couple 100% charges would be nice to back up the numbers. Old Tesla wasn't exactly perfect at matching range with existing on pack replacement.

Sad to say but Tesla service is more than somewhat lacking. Three months wating on PCS part for me. They make such a superior product yet take such poor care of their customers.
