Mine also. Ugh. When will I learn to pass up an update until it's been out and tested. I updated last night and didn't notice the Tonneau bug until reading about it here.

I'm on version 4.58 and an update is not available. Not 6et anyway.

Sweet, being on Android means this works well for me and doesn't have this problem!

I guess I won't see it. Installed the update this morning. Haven't driven anywhere yet.

After the recent update 2026.20.6.6 , my cyber trucks, Tonneau cover always shows open on the app, even though it’s closed. It shows correctly on the truck screen, however, after doing resets and quitting the app, and restarting my phone, nothing changes. Anyone else having this issue?

If you’re on iOS, go into the App Store and search for the Tesla app. It Should refresh and show the app update. Looks like it was released 3 hours ago.

Spoke too soon. Did something that caused the android app to query the truck. Tonneau cover shows open when closed. Updated the android app and it still shows it. Tonneau still operates fine. App just doesn't show its real state.

Hi guys. Got similar issue. Tried to close tonneau on the screen. Pop up message: “tonneau needs to calibrate “ I clicked yes. Tonneau open/close couple of times and now working like before.

Had an unrelated service today and discussed this issue with the service tech and advisor. They are aware and stated that a message was sent to Tesla HQ to address.

To be clear for everyone 4.59.0 is currently only iOS App available. Android is still running 4.58.6-4430 App version.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app and am still running 4.58.6.

Had the issue after 20.6.6 update. Updated the app (iOS) to 4.59 and issue resolved.
