By the way, since day one my 2018 model X falcon door still doesn't open 100% of the time and driver side window still barely rolls up and squeaks.
Sounds like you didn't get it fixed. 7 years to not get it fixed. Must drive you mad. I would have got that fixed. Sorry you didn't.

Nope on the ego. Hey according to some I am just a hermit in the woods.
Copium wouldn't apply as I have said I want to buy second truck at today's prices from Tesla.

I am just sharing me having a great time. While others try to scare people away. So I am glad it took you the time to figure that out. I get to share that some are spreading fear in people that are about to take delivery.

This is so far a running tally of your FUD on this thread. It is evident you aren't taking delivery of a Cybertruck in Founders Series. Almost bitter for those who are.

@Gurule92 FUD

1. I am trying to impress Elon
2. Range and price not delivered
3. Bringing up all the other cars even used
4. Fears on rust
5. Best one is causing an accident because of pedal.

I highly doubt you will see me complaining about anything on prices. I never have, and my last ICE was bought in 2012. So I have paid a premium on each and every Tesla.

I will say it again....

Show me an issue that has not been fixed or promised to be fixed by Tesla on a delivery for a Cybertruck.

Anyone?
when did i say anything about range or rust? I said paying for less. Like paying for a truck with FSD but not getting FSD.

It is true though that the range is less than originally expected. And i def didnt mention the rust. I think i actually said that it is not an issue.

The pedal was a safety issue and it couldve caused an accident. Tesla agrees, thats why they recalled.

Show me an issue that has not been fixed or promised to be fixed by Tesla on a delivery for a Cybertruck.

Anyone?
The fact that they are/will fix them doesnt justify them happening in the first place. Like the guy whose plastic flew off today, or the guy whose suspension wont inflate. They paid 100k for a truck. and it already has those kinds of issues.

It's not about scaring people off.

It's about being real about the situation. Pretending there are no issues just because its a cool truck isnt being real

OP has not left the building yet.

OP had to work to make $ because he bought a third ICE car in case his two Tesla's have issues with service appointments at least three to four weeks out.

I see there are a few similar minded folks that sees my original intent of the post.

Negligence and justification of issues does not make things "okay" or not worthy of discussion.

Oh, it's been fixed multiple times (sensor replaced x 2 and windshield motor x 1) based on what the service center said.

Luckily it doesn't leak when it rains and there is another door that my kids can get out of.

This!

And the fact that we can't talk about it?
If you can't talk about it amongst fellow Tesla owners then where do we go? Perhaps we should go to Reddit r/cyberstuck

@Gurule92 might want to change the 2 page signature. #4 and #5 I think you are running from.
If I was running I would have a Rivian rn. I'm too stubborn to not get CT. Im just going to wait until they sell it for the actual price and finish the truck

OP had a legitimate question and...
No. No they didn't. A legitimate question would be 'Have there been more issues than expected?'

The answer is, no, there's no evidence for that yet.

If you don’t like the CT pricing and can’t afford or don’t see the value then kindly leave the forum. You are adding nothing to the discussion.
I don't like the pricing and don't think there's value in it, but I'm not leaving the forum.

But to say it's within reason for your seat belt to be installed incorrectly, gear selector hanging , and have the windshield wiper motor working at delivery etc... is not okay.
If vehicles could be manufactured without any mistakes or faulty components, they wouldn't need a warranty.

I actually expected much worse at this point, given the new factory, new technologies and all-new vehicle. Honestly, I think the Cybertruck ramp is proceeding quite well, and that your high expectations are unrealistic.

Of course, that's easy for me to say when yours is in the shop and mine is in the driveway

But it's okay, I'm sure there's someone here in the forum with a Ford or Chrysler with a faulty door and window. So I should stop whining, shut up or just sell the car right?
I literally have a friend who's about to sell away his third new Bronco because it's having 'issues' again. (First one was taken back by Ford, second was sold before it was delivered, this one has another warranty issue and he no longer needs an AWD vehicle.) It's a thing that happens with new platforms.

I anticipate around 4K dip in AWD prices and nothing more. Irrespective of media criticism, CT is doing a good job of selling itself. Demand will continue to grow. Tesla won't go back to the price they actually published in 2019.
