Hey everyone,

I am creating my wishlist of accessories for when my Cybertruck arrives and just added the PS5 silver controller to match my grey interior. Question... what games are loaded on the Cybertruck? Specifically, what 2-player simultaneous games are loaded? My son is a big gamer, as well, and would love to play some games with him while chilling in the truck. I am guessing I should order a second controller, but heard that the Cybertruck only allows two simultaneous bluetooth connections? So, if my phone is connected via bluetooth, I can only hook up one controller? Or is it as simple as disconnecting my phone from bluetooth and then having two controllers connected when I want to play games?

Thanks.

You can also connect controllers using the vehicle USB ports.

I believe to connect multiple USB controllers. You just have to use a USB hub.

I did this in my Model 3. That's why I told you about it.
There are definitely differences in how things work in the Cybertruck. Not knowing which are intended or just things not fully implemented yet is just part of the adventure. ?

If anyone gets its USB-C ports working for other than power I would love to hear about it. The USB-A port in the glovebox works for data, but seems to behave differently than other models, and Tesla documentation says not to use hubs with it.

Finally got an Xbox Series X controller working in game mode. I don't know why it was so resistant. I tried pairing and this time it connected but didn't show up in games. I told it to forget and tried again, same result. I left it in that state, went to browser, then streamed some music, then came back to games and surprise, little green dot showing controller active!

I can attest now that it CAN work in 2024.14.6, not confident yet about dependability. ?

Glad you got it working. Looks like the PS5 controllers pair much easier than the Xbox ones.

In my experience, PS5 controllers are the most consistant in connection via blutooth. I tried using older PS4 controller and although they will quickly flash connected, it then immediately drops the connection; not sure why, perhaps since it's older blutooth tech.

It's unknown if the USB-C ports are power-only or can be capable of data, but currently they do not mount USB drives.

A hub on the USB-A port might be contra-indicated, but it's "legal" in the USB spec. It is complicated by the drawer-based glovebox, since the port itself is immobile.

Yep, we can't be sure yet what Tesla may eventually deliver, whether for instance those USB-C ports have hardware connectivity for data or not. The Cybertruck feels a lot like the beta products I've tested for more than 50 years. You never know what the next surprise might be. ? ?
