Well after 2000 miles I’ve managed to break both my rear rocker fairings. One side because of a tree branch and one side because of dead armadillo on the road. Both times driving on some dark roads.

Hopefully Tesla service wont beat me upside the head getting these fixed.

Hmmm..... I suspect that will be a cost you'll have to cover.

We have plenty of downed tree branches and armadillos where I drive. If that happens to me I will be temped to leave those parts off and try to do some cosmetic fix.

....but seems like a pretty weak point on the CT.
That's what I was thinking, too. If they aren't there those armadillos can't break the part off.

Just ordered the right side with my service center yesterday. Quoted $15 for one side, part only.
Good to know! Do you have an idea about installation? I saw on video on YouTube where he made it seem they were really difficult to remove.

These are super easy to install. I just added the mud flaps to my beast. 60 seconds per mud flap for install

The rear mudflaps go on the opposite side of the wheel well on an empty spot. I have them in my garage waiting to be installed.

These rocker panels I believe you have to remove the whole side rocker just to properly install these small pieces.

At that surprisingly reasonable price we could afford to keep a case of 12 of those things in a cabinet, along with a case of 12 bottles of Costco's best cheap wine. You never know when a group of armadillos might show up on road or a group of friends might show up looking for a party - a case of each would cover both situations!

Mine are rock collectors now that are broken. I need to run overland all the time to stay high. All dirt road driving.

The next interesting thing will be front camera issues. @13k in miles have little pock marks. I think @50k in miles they will be frosted over.
