Cybertruck one day?

OK. You convinced me. I'll just quit using it since my truck's Autopilot can't be working ;).

When you get your Cybertruck, hopefully you'll include FSD in your order or your Autopilot won't work, too.

Over and out....

I’ve been staring at the “start designing” button in my ap for a little while now. I like the refrigerator styling and all, but the most expensive car in the fleet should at least have the features allotted to the least expensive cars in those same fleet. In all honesty, I do not care for the FSD, but autopilot is a must.

Tesla has been a little loosy-goosy with their ADAS naming conventions. Before FSD beta, they called it “Navigate on Autopilot” for highways only. The first betas were only for city streets, so FSD would switch to NoA once you entered the highway.

I think the current beta FSD works on highways also, so IDK if they will even make the distinction anymore. ?‍♂

It will be here some day. If you are just now configuring/placing your order it may not be a long wait after you take delivery. The truck is amazing, you will not regret the purchase.

I think if you can get on the freeway/highway and set your TACC or set the speed and then you can not have to steer, you have autopilot or autosteer as it is talked about in the manual. It is my understanding that no one outside of Tesla employees have autopilot on the Cybertruck as of right now.
It's just semantics/definition.
The public doesn't know how the controls screen and terminology will change once FSD is rolled out, but there is a screen named "Autopilot" and, except for the FSD on/off slider, everything on that screen is working on my truck. Personally, I think the screen will look just like this for those future buyers who don't pay for FSD.

If you look at you Autopilot controls screen, there are two major functions:

  • Traffic Aware Cruise Control [this is active}
and
  • Full Self Driving. [not active - grayed out] <-this is huge, but ALL of the controls on this AUTOPILOt screen work except for this one
Under TACC there is this control
  • Cruise Follow Distance

There are a number of other Autopilot screen settings that work now and I suspect will be similar once FSD is turned on.

  • Set Speed
  • Offset (to speed limit for the set point)
  • Speed Limit Warning (On/Off, Displayed, Chime)
  • Speed Limit (Relative or Absolute)
  • Offset (for speed limit)
  • Forward Collision Warning (Off, Late, Medium, Early)
  • Lane Departure Avoidance (Off, Warning)
  • Automatic Emergency Braking
  • Obstacle Aware Acceleration
  • Traffic Aware Cruise Control Chime
  • Green Traffic Light Chime

My CT was asleep for ~7 hours last night. Big difference from before the update, where it would go ~30 minutes before waking.

I noticed my auto headlights have changed. It’s much more aggressive now switching from low beam to high beam but it needs some work.

High beam kept turning on, then it would illuminate the reflective street signs and then turn off as I think it registered the reflection as an oncoming car.

So essentially my high beams just kept turning on and off the whole drive which was really annoying.

No comment yet on HVAC update or if vampire drain is any better.

Here is some proof about improved sleeping. I left my phone on and the Tesla app was running on my phone overnight. When I went into the app this morning the Beast has been asleep for 9 hours and still fully charged at 241 miles of range at 80% on a Cyberbeast. No loss of range, no cycling of charging etc. Vampire drain certainly seems to be fixed.

Same here, the app showed “sleeping for 10 hours” this morning, and at the same battery level. My router confirms no network activity during that period. Yay!

Mine has been sleeping for 4 hours. BUT! On 14.11 software. Did you receive 20.1?
