Hey guys! After a few months of measurements, various fitments and adjustments, and then installation, I wanted to show off my CyberTruck sporting CyberTruckCo's Baja Stage 1. It did tremendous in the local San Diego desert mountains a few weeks back too! Pictures and videos of that adventure are still to come so stay tuned!

Stage 1 List:

-Billet Aluminum Locking Wheel Caps
-Heavy Duty Crossbars
-Molle Panel
-Cyber Bridge Setup for Spare Tire Accommodation
-Baja Designs S8 50” Driving Combo LED Light Bar

Thanks to Ceasar from Hokwraps for applying the amazing 8.5mm Ultra Black Gloss PPF also from CyberTruckCo.

See I wouldn't travel the long distance with the tire on the rack nor would I take that to be what OP is doing; he might be adding it to the rack after he arrives at his destination.

Fun fact: I have a discovery 5 frontrunner slimline II rack I never mounted and am trying to figure out how to add to my CT at the moment...

As one group found out with a Rivian bed mounted tent, putting the tire on the rack and taking some heavy bumps may be a lot more than the rack can handle.
Mount it to the floor as Tesla suggests.

Starting to see I'm probably going to need some racks to then modify and mount the base of the slimline II. I dunno I haven't made it that far yet in assembly. I just hope I can use it - would hate to waste it. Regret dropping 2k on it,and regret losing 12k on buying/selling the discovery 5 in the first place (what the hell was I thinking)

I think a proper stage 1 would be underbody protection, skid plates, and some kind of replacement for the bumpers that improves departure angle. Stage 2 would be a more durable suspension with clearance for 37” tires. That’s basically all you need. Carry the spares in a second vehicle.

Yeah I agree, this is not much of anything. It’s practically stock but with added weight now. Although, not sure how much additional underbody protection it needs, isn’t it already protected?

Great start.

If you baja that rig and bounce it, weight of tire is going to taco those crossbars severely. I'd re-think putting that tire in the vault perhaps?

There is no chance at Taco in that bar with that tire!
