I picked up my new Cybertruck on Tuesday the 18th. The Sales Manager told me that he had received an email that day from the higher ups saying that the wheel covers are not coming back. Thought I'd pass on the word and see if anybody else had heard the same.

By the way, first time poster, but long time reader. This place was a wealth of knowledge for me prior to order/pickup. Thanks!!
Just ordered a center cap from Amazon - $69 for four caps (elecfresh). I wished Tesla will reimburse for the cost.

If they don’t release an improved cover that fits the design of the factory tires we need to petition for reimbursement for at least tire swap costs, because without the covers the tires look stupid with those outlines. I would also add the cost for aftermarket center caps.

How long have u guys been Tesla customers? Just because you pay for something Tesla doesn't mean you will EVER get it or an explanation, LOL.
THAT is Tesla.
I know, I have a Solar Glass roof, two model 3 and more, Dont hold your breath.
You must love the element of surprise?...lol. They're listed as $75 a pop. 75x4=300. At least give us wall connector or something?

I'm no accountant and trying to not sour but damn. This Foundation Series package isn't holding water. Wheel covers MIA, no FSD for a while and you have to work your ass for Powershare setup. Again, maybe I look back and all is made right in months but GM pulls this and it's mutiny. This whole Tesla experience has been a rough ride so far

Getting mine tomorrow in Miami Gardens… I’ll be sure to ask. They have pushed my delivery spot twice now, I’m guessing for the wiper motor issue…
Let us know how your experience goes with that SC…..that’s where I eventually will pick up my CB.

If this is true, hope Tesla can at least reimburse $75x4=$300 for the covers. Technically we even paid tax for it but I am not that nitpicking.
But I still prefer the cover, for the look and efficiency. I probably won’t trust the after market part in near term if Tesla cannot solve the issue. Just don’t want to risk it.

If true.

There's 0 chance Tesla will reimburse anyone. When the Model S/X didn't get Steam or tilting screen, Tesla mostly told people to check their order and see if it's listed. Of course that stuff wasn't. Some took Tesla to small claims and won, but most simply just complained.

The same with passenger lumbar and mobile charger when Tesla stopped including those.

I assume you have an inside source… blink once if true ?
I always do.

The advisor was likely just trying to get the new owner to leave.

If that's the case, the least Tesla should do is send us a set of lug nut covers and center hub covers.

Yikes, sounds like maybe I'm wrong? Nobody else has heard this?

In my defense, he pulled up the email and read it right in front of me. He was like "Oh yeah we got an email about the covers this morning, let's see what it said"

Possible he read it wrong (I didn't read it) but it sounded like they weren't coming back at all. ?‍♂
I suspect it said something like the current cyber covers aren’t coming back.. that’s probably because they are being redesigned. It doesn’t make much sense that they would abandoned them giving all we know.
