It’s not acceptable at a legacy dealership and it’s not acceptable at Tesla. This is a critical error and it’s Tesla’s job to fix it. If they can’t, it’s lemon law time.
True.

But that also takes months.

Yes, because I've never had that happen at a legacy dealership before.

Like my musty F-150 that has leaked rainwater into the cab from day one but that no Ford dealership can "replicate". We decided to just put a small bucket under the drip but the musty smell is still strong. I will be glad to see it go.
It’s interesting that you posted this. I saw, don’t ask me how it popped up on my YouTube “feed,” about a month ago, with similar, if not the same issue. He was able to figure it out. I will try to find it on YouTube again and send you the link. It was actually a simple fix once he figured it out, but it seemed to take him a while to isolate the initial problem.

Not being able to replicate a fault so it can be tracked down is not a necessarily a critical error. It could be they genuinely can't replicate it, even after multiple days and multiple test drives. Anyone who has tracked down vexxing intermittant problems knows this. Tesal Service doesn't have magical powers, they can only give it their best attempt to track it down. At some point, if it continues to not show up, and everything is functioning normal for them, there comes a time when it's appropriate to give it back to the customer with instructions to bring it in if it re-occurs.

I brought up the Ford Dealerships, three of them, because none of them seemed to WANT to find the leak.

That would be great if you could post up his fix, especially if the cause is the same. We have to keep in mind that Tesla has limited data so far with which to work with, for any issues that might crop up. This is normal on any clean sheet design. It takes time to iron out issues as they crop up. Frankly, I'm surprised there aren't more issues this early.

Thanks for making a list to track would be super helpful. No other errors for me.
So thats two more to the list with about 10 others.

It seems there is a bigger issue at play here. Please keep us updated on what exactly caused this as I'm starting a list to keep track.

Did you see any other error mesages like power, SbW, Brakes or wiring etc?
I received the critical steering failure. “Red screen of death”. It had to be towed to a service Centre and will be there for over 10 days as they need to replace a part to
Fix it. It is a “faulty electrical harness”.

so annoyed.

Was this a more recent delivery and failure or a while back?

Issue should of been sorted by now really if its the wiring harness one.

Well, that sucks, also... why are you getting more annoyed when they're fixing it? Why don't you make your own thread about your experience so we can get you some sympathy for your specifics.

Oh, growing annoyed because I have family visiting from overseas and they were excited to see it but they won’t get to.

Don’t need sympathy, it is really a first world problem. Lol. Just posting for awareness that this issue is still around. I’m thankful I didn’t get stranded miles from home.

Critical steering issue - Loss of system redundancy (intermittent)

Had delivery on March 1 and got a giant red PULL OVER SAFELY, critical steering issue detected alert on my first attempt to put it into drive. It went away after getting out of the car and getting back in, but comes back again when stopping, getting out, and getting back in to drive again. My Cybertruck went directly from delivery to service (very sad) and Tesla has been diagnosing the issue for 5 days. They still don't know what's wrong with it.

Anyone else have this issue?
Do I hold the record for the worst/most unlucky Cybertruck delivery experience so far?

Had the same warning with in the high 1700s.

Mine wasn't the harness, it was a rear motor oil pump (or so we hope). It also made the AC go out.

I'm supposed to get it back tomorrow, but they aren't sure.
