11k miles here no problems
With many trips over 500 miles a day
Its just a glitch or part malfunction on a few bad apples. Unfortunately. Eric’s case is the worst. Mine was in the shop for 25 days. Finally what they did solved the issue and i’ve done 2k miles afterwards and so far no issues.

After replacing a plethora of parts, including all of the ones mentioned in this thread, the “critical issue” problem was addressed although I’m not sure they know the actual cause since so many things were taken apart so many times. They had a Tesla engineer involved. Upon picking the truck up, I started having air suspension failures. They’ve replaced the compressor and all of the lines twice and claim it is now fixed. It’s been out of service well over 30 days and I no longer have confidence in it so I’ve asked the service center to submit the repurchase paperwork. Hopefully they take it back without much of a hassle so I don’t have to go through the legal/mediation process.
Oh Eric!! I am so sorry for this experience! I hope it all gets better from here, and thanks for sharing.
I will keep you posted how my service goes, i am already skeptical because I feel from one experience to the other, with different service centers and stories i heard, similar problems get different diagnosis and attempts to fix, different parts to replace, some succeed and some fail, so i am losing confidence myself, i drove my car only for ~500 miles

Glad they were able to figure it out at your center and provide the right fix!
Thanks for sharing the good news, giving me some hopes here!
My current estimated pick up date is ~ 22 days from the time they received it, hoepfully they wont reschedule again!

The biggest problem is, they dont have enough expertise on CTs on service centers. Also very little unknown issues.

Another thread on this suggested charging to 100% might have been a factor. Have any of you with this failure charged to 100%? Many CTs have been charged to 100%, so it is prolly not a root cause of the failure.

FWIW, my parents picked up a brand new 1946 Ford (in 1945 of '46) and it broke down 20 miles from the dealership and had to be towed back to the dealership. It is hard to imagine how simple a 1946 Ford is compared to the complexity of a Cybertruck.
