Wolverine?? Rare in Mn … these days. Those paw prints are awfully large compared to your hands there....either you have huge raccoons in MN or there's another larger critter....seen any bears around?
I saw a large cruiser in our marina that a raccoon got into. It went in through a salon ceiling hatch that was open but covered with canvas. Once the coon was inside it couldn't reach the hatch to get out. When the owners found the results, weeks later, the entire inside of the cabin was destroyed and I'll leave the remains of the coon to your imagination. The boat was essentially totaled. That's crazy! Would have never guessed that type of damage from a coon. I guess you have to prep the food over night like you're backpacking with a hanging food stuff bag or bear canister (if you've gone backpacking). Glad I saw your post as I prob would have left some stuff in the vault post trip to eat before hitting the road.
Hope you're able to get this fixed quickly and for a reasonable price. Follow up with the repair bill if you have time.
"I'm sorry, I took it too far. I meant trash panda."Depends on the racoon...

That's one hell of a big raccoon, it looks more like you were attacked by an undisciplined gang of juvenile Sasquatch.Raccoons tried to enter vault overnight while camping in Minnesota!![]()

The damaged piece is a seal, can't easily be made if metal.Maybe they need to consider making that trim piece out of aluminum or stainless as well. However I can understand the weight considerations and decisions Tesla had to make.

I guess I don't feel quite as bad when I do winter trapping and get one. I've had farmers tell me in a corn field they'll tear down like 100+ corn stalks to eat 2-3 husks. Pretty destructive.I saw a large cruiser in our marina that a raccoon got into. It went in through a salon ceiling hatch that was open but covered with canvas. THAT is damage you wouldn't image from one raccoon.
That sucks. That’d be heartbreaking to walk out to your truck and see that. Was there food stored in your vault? I’m curious what attracted them to what they caused them to go for it?Raccoons tried to enter vault overnight while camping in Minnesota!![]()
