Is anyone else having issues with vault dividers not properly securing into the L track? I purchases one then got a replacement and neither works well. I can get them into a few locations, but in most spots, it sits slightly to high so the pins don't engage into the track to secure it. They've now told me to get my truck bed inspected via an appointment. I can do this when the truck goes in for the recall, but I'd suspect they aren't manufacturing the divider properly. Anyone else had this issue?

It's not the dividers, it's the rails. There's some play in the bolts that hold the rails on, so loosening the 7 bolts on each side, then pushing up the rails and re-tightening the bolts aligns the rails perfectly for the dividers.

People have been modifying the dividers to fit, but seems to me a lot easier to just reposition the rails.

As the simplest workaround for this issue, I filed the top of the rubber pads that seat in the L track. No one's truck bed is flat and level and this is a terrible design for tolerance issues.

Here's a short video I made on how to install the divider... it's quite simple once you understand where those round tabs need to be... hope this helps.

The bed panel of your truck is warped. Tesla will replace it but you will have to make an appt. Mine is getting replaced next week.

DID they fix your bed or send you a new divider . I have heard from some late posts there is a new divider with adjustable feet ...

If my bed panel is warped then it needs to be fixed.. not just having a divider that adjusts for this defect by having adjustable feet .

This seems to be a decent alternative I haven’t tried yet . Rather Then “ the entire bed is warped replace it so I can fit my divider) just to gain 1/8th inch ?
I’ve also had 2 sent out and both worked the same, Like crap.
One other thing you all can do is open up the ends and take the little plastic slides out, this will give a little wiggle and helps a little bit to be able to lock them in
I’m not understanding why people think the bottom feet would be the difference? The center of the divider hits the bed rungs so no mater what you do with the rubber feet it doesn’t change a thing.
also I’ve tried to adjust my rails and there is no room for them to go any further down. It works it’s just not like “hey let me pop this out and back in every day” it’s a pain in the ass.

This doesn't always work they tried this at the service center with my CB and it didn't make one bit of difference to how the divider fits. what it did do. Is that they broke my bed upper wall quarter panel above the track when they removed it. It looks like they just grabbed it and yanked it as hard as they can removing the panel but breaking all the mounting clips that hold it in. the clips stayed in place and broke away from the panel. and now it looks like they don't want to take responsibility for that and want me to pay for the part $150.

They won't replace any bed panel even if you think your bed is warped, I've been through it all and they tried everything after 3 trips to the SC the divider fits exactly how it did from the start. it doesn't fit anywhere without forcing it to fit. The only thing they did on this issue is create more issues and at the end of the day my truck is worse off than it was before I took it in. not only did they break the divider so that one of the arms no longer retracts making it harder to remove the thing. they also broke the bed upper panel and said nothing about it. now want me to pay for it. put scratches on my bed. I've had such a horrible SC service experiences that I'm scared to go back. for who knows what else they will break.

and the one with adjustable feet is aftermarket not sold by tesla! hell just getting them to tell you that is an issue. When I brought this up to the service center guy, he never confirmed nor dined that they make one with adjustable feet. what he told me was Ill look into it for you and have an answer for you on your next visit. next time he told me all i can do is give you a check for the refund and you can buy the one with adjustable feet. I never got the check and after looking for the new divider in the store I only found the same old one. some people even bought a second one only to find its the same. its now its become my problem not thiers they tried everything and failed now washed thier hands of it.
