Any chance they start delivering Beasts with light bar and aero covers installed? Curious when that cut over will take place. I have a VIN with no date but I don’t imagine I’ll get either when I take delivery.

True, but why couldn’t they design it with an actual cover? Now I need to figure out how to cover it when I’m not off-road

Take note. Some states don't allow us to ride on street with off road lights exposed. Know ur state law. Virginia made me remove the word Corvette from windshield. It was above roof.
I had to remove.

I'm sure Tesla will unveil a fancy accessory cover for the lights for $200 that will go out of stock in minutes after launch.

They should be selling it with some kind of on road cover instead of a black tape over the light

Sadly, no. The light bar with ship with a black out tape over it that only the customer or 3rd party installer is allowed to remove to get around the liability issues that comes with OEM off-road lights. It will not have a setting that is safe for on-road use as it will be up to the customer to accepted the liability by removing the black out tape.

Too bad Tesla can't default the light to have the 5 amber clearance lights and have it able to switch to white... Then, it might be legal.

By the post on X from Tesla Project Manager sounds like all FS will receive the bar…

Whether or not it reads that way it won’t happen. If you want it you can pay for it - if you are lucky enough to be waiting at the right moment.

The lightbar showed up for a short time as an orderable item. And it was shown as an included item for the Cyberbeast.

I never saw it. Do you recall what it cost during that short period of time?
