For the second straight month, the Cybertruck is the best-selling vehicle in the US priced over $100,000.

The two best-selling vehicles in the U.S. in July were full-size trucks, the Ford F-series and the popular Chevrolet Silverado, which the Chevrolet Rado will possibly replace in model year 2026. The average transaction price for the F-Series in July was over $67,000; the Silverado ATP was over $60,000. Last month, two all-electric pickup trucks transacted for over $100,000 – the GMC Hummer EV Pickup ($111,242) and the Tesla Cybertruck ($111,018), the best-selling vehicle in the U.S. priced over $100,000.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing. Feels odd to share the spot with Hummer, as that thing drives way different.

This is only the beginning. CT topped the list with limited FS production and without mass test drives. Think about it. My prediction is once flood gates open for non foundation series, CT will dominate the market across several segments. Other than the price, I don’t see a single deal breaking feature that can bring the CT down! Please don’t say towing as EV trucks are not meant for long distance towing.

Anybody who lays their hand on those magnificent steer by wire wheels will never let go of it.

While this is good news, I question how many total truck models/packages are on the market with a price over $100k compared to those below the threshold. I could be wrong but I suspect the latter would have the majority sold.
I think the current run rate is ~1000/week so they may have sold about 4k in the month.

Uh...That is going to SUCK. Imagine every truck on the road looking exactly like the truck I am driving? And , holy crap, what if someone runs into me? This is not good. Tesla is going to have to stop selling these trucks, I cannot afford a WRAP!

I had to laugh at the headline image. I would stop videos to cout the truck to see if it was even POSSIBLE that I would get a truck soon. Now that I have it (3 months) I was not over reacting . The truck is that good.

lol ?. It might be the opposite as well - there might be so many new affordable color options that no two trucks might looks the same and yours might be the only original steel one ?. I already saw some startups filing patents for magnetic wraps! You can’t do these things with traditional non stainless steel cars. Who knows what type of affordable wraps will show up for stainless steel in the future? Spray films? Detachable wraps? Designer Patinas? Laser etching? Special ink tattoos? I personally would rather blend in with as many CTs as possible instead of standing out unique and getting flipped often ?

Your Cybertruck will be a lot less common (at least for awhile) than any specific color of a F-150.

But it will look different than most other pickups, which basically all look the same.

Current run rate is closer to ~1400/week, which implies 6000 units rather than 4k.

Can’t wait until it’s the best selling under $50k EV Truck. Happiness awaits!
