...I don't really intend to do any 70 to 0 stops or equivalent, as that's simply not how I use this truck, but I'm glad to help answer any subjective questions if I can be helpful in that way...

Cybertruck has an unusual brake setup on its front:

A huge 4 pot caliper (50/50x26mm pistons), and a big [email protected]" hub, so there is almost no room between the the caliper & rotor hat as you can see from the pic below:

Designing a 2 pc rotors (with no modification) is beyond challenge, it's impossible for the conventional surface-mount designs, but thanks to our patented "center-mount" design. that sets the hardware below the disc surface, it's being made available.

Compared to X Plaid stock front 390x32mm, Cybertruck's 350x32 is considered undersized, but with a 2 pc rotors & better pads upgrade it shall provide you with a sound and safe stopping power for emergency, as well as heavy load towing.

I've driven my share of vehicles and have owned All the Tesla models. My wife was saying how hard she had to press on the brakes in the Cybertruck when she was driving it back from delivery. I didn't fully understand until I drove it and gave them a test. They are the worse braking feeling I have ever witnessed. Maybe they're different on the CB but they suck on the CT. It's good to see some options are available.

A good brake system for "street driving" in general, regardless it's a conventional or regen s/b:

• Improve for a firm pedal but not hard.
• Easy to modulate (A smooth & liner braking control than switch like "On/Off")
• Sustain elevated heat (spirited driving/towing) w/o fading.
• Quiet (No squeaking).
• Low dust.
• Cooper free, environmentally friendly.
• Long lasting.

This is our XT-910 brake compound was formulated and made for. Requirement for off-road and track racing are more specific and is outside the discussion here.

Additionally a better pad design can also improve the braking performance and durability of the brake components.

Different level of brake upgrade options are offered for you to choose from based on your needs. If you are satisfied with stock/regen. great stay where you are, but if think your truck needs some improvement on the brake, no problem we are here to help.

Front Caliper (loaded) weight:

OE 4 pot:

RB 6 pot (Add 1.3 lbs for adaptor total=13.3 lbs):
Wt saving (21.43-13.3)=8.13 lbs/ea, 16.26 lbs/axle.

So i was planning on getting my cyber beast calipers powder coated red, approx cost is 2800$. Given your replacement calipers come in red, is it possible to do a kit with front and rear rb calipers, in red, and with your pads...then i could do rotors at a later time to spread cost. What would be braking benefit / limitations of this setup?

Other thought is full front setup -calipers, rotors and pads…but then rears arent painted and unsure if causes any brake balance issues.

You have option to just do the front, 4 corners, or just the rear.

As a manufacturer we can only publish the objective data (design, drawing, numbers) for you to see and evaluate how RB brakes are different from OE & others. Marketing data are subjective which can vary by the drivers, different components (pad, tire) used, and road conditions etc., which shall be left to users and sales/marketing company to evaluate.

Price adder for the 2 pc rotors option is substantially discounted for the bundle, but they can be upgraded later if needed.

These calipers are made for a direct replacement to OE calipers with a 100% bolt-on installation w/o modification and are fully compatible with stock 1 pc rotors.

What's the weight of the stock rotors? Previously you showed the caliper weight savings, would be nice to know the rotor weight savings as well along with the combined weight savings if you go with both caliper and rotor.
