@moderators please shut this thread down
Having a place to rant, and feeling better about the situation knowing other feel the same way is helpful, and would prevent, the outlandish things people are suggesting doing. The reason people are suggesting, is because they would never do it themselves.
Also having an actual talk about what to do, will get the correct information out there on what to do. I.e call the police and let them deal with it.
It’s ignorant to block discussion just because you don’t agree with it. Healthy debate is good.

Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.
Any sufficiently advanced stupidity is indistinguishable from malice.

Calling the Police is a waste of time. SC is private property and cops don't have the authority to write a summons, only the owner of the property has the authority.

When Tesla sets up these charging stations, they need to setup towing companies as well for enforcement.

Apologies if this has already been posted, but I just ran across this article today about an ICE towing a trailer & completely blocking an entire SC station, not few stalls.

https://apple.news/A87LcrQtQRZqaUkM8_7jqYg

So what would you do? I have a few ideas.

1. Egg his rig. Simple and very effective. If he doesn’t act fast his paint will be etched permanently or until he spends a lot of money repainting it.
2. If he’s not around, go to the right side where you can’t be seen & remove the valve cores on every tire. Let’s share the inconvenience. I carry a very inexpensive valve core removal for this very reason.
3. This is very old school & most of us don’t go around carrying a bunch of potatoes, but you happen to have some, shove several up his tailpipe. No, not that one. The tailpipe on his truck. ?
4. If his gas cap isn't lockable, you could do some expensive damage to his engine by adding the right stuff.
5. If the gas cap is lockable, adding a little super glue into a strategic slot will ensure it NEVER UNLOCKS. Boy will he be surprised the next time his gas hog needs to suck down a Giant Gulp. And while you’re at it, time permitting of course, hit every lock on the entire rig. That will really make his day.

Turds like this guy needs to understand that icing a SC may cost them too. Time to start fighting back. And yes, in case you’re curious, I’m packing whenever taking a long road trip, and I’m not talking about luggage or beer, though they’re probably in the truck too.
Two rights don't make a wrong. And any of these may get you hauled into jail, or at least fined, as the ICE drives away smiling at you.

Part of the process of Tesla setting up the lease is enforcing parking rules and establishing very clear signage.

Sure, but I've often seen it me mentioned they don't have tow numbers at the lots.

Unless it's new requirement.

If a tow company isn't listed on nearby signage, then just open google maps and find the closest one. Right?

Wow. I can't get these few minutes back.

OP, do not take any of your own advice. This thread should just be deleted.
There are probably a lot of people that might have some of the same thoughts as the OP. And as many have said in this thread, that's a bad idea. So some might come here looking for a solution to the same problem and be deterred by the conversation that takes place in here. Deleting this post, would also remove the post about how it's a bad idea. Including yours. Again deleting posts just because you don't like it is wrong.

Also the OP, clearly joking and venting their frustration with the situation.

Odds are decent that they didn't actually know what they were doing. Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity. The stalls were obviously empty when they pulled up or they wouldn't have been able to park there. A confrontational response isn't going to change the mind of somebody who did it intentionally, it's just going to escalate for the next person.
ODDS are? Actually, odds are that they DID know... Here's what the article said that kind of proves that this guy is a jerk:
"When approached, the truck driver allegedly said: "Go buy a gas car.""

I don't know about you, but it sounds like he KNEW he was blocking spaces, and, because he doesn't want to be nice to BEV owners, he wasn't going to move for them either.

Perhaps if the OP got together with other EV owners they could all go to, say, the cheapest/popular GAS station and pull up to the pumps and block them all in while they go 'shopping' inside the convenience store...

Might even make the news as well... Wouldn't that be a great story? "EV owners take over GAS station in protest"... Sure, they could 'trespass' you with the authorities to make you leave, but that's going to take time and then it WILL make the news for sure... Besides, who cares if you get 'trespassed' from a GAS station anyway, right?

You could even do SEVERAL gas stations... One at a time... You know, go to the Shell station, and when you get kicked out ("But officer, I DID make a purchase - from the store") finally, everyone heads a couple of blocks away to the Chevron Station, then Costco, then xxxxxx, xxxxxx, etc...

All a PEACEFUL protest... Maybe then, they will pass some legislation to make it illegal to PURPOSELY block them...

Depending on the state there are fines for willfully blocking EV charge stations.

if this is in Colorado I’d call the police and have them ticketed.
That’s exactly what I was thinking. Shouldn’t this just be a simple matter of calling the authorities to deal with this jerk? You don’t even have to be physically there to confront. Just let them know and go find another charging spot.

No need to vandalize or resort to pig fight or become an angel and hug the jerk. Teaching someone how to behave in a society to not trouble others, and doing that through the right systems set by the society while being very patient and calm, is nothing but an act of pure love ??

Interesting, although it makes sense in a way. So if someone is blocking your access into a parking mall, the owner of the mall has to call the police? You have no right to call anybody other than the mall security? If that’s the case, the only option here is to call Tesla. I don’t think even a Towing company would help as you are not the owner of the SC property.

Probably Tesla should add an emergency line for these type of scenarios that need immediate intervention from cops. ?‍♂

You can call the PD but the owner, or his agent (mall security), can sign the summons and have the vehicle towed/ticketed. If the State has laws on the books regarding blocking EV parking spaces with non-EV vehicles, that's different. But, Elon may not really want to be involved unless/until it really gets out of hand. A simple maneuver is to block the offending vehicle who is intentionally preventing access, such as a diesel p/u truck. He gets to leave when you are good and ready. Uncouth but deserved.
