I totally agree that this is deceptive tactics. In a fact, I reached out to delivery representative to validate before delivery that credit will be provided and was assured that installation credit is still provided. I was trying to reach out to Tesla, but there was no response. If there are way to submit formal complain, I would like to participate.

Old news, I ordered 5/24 and found this out 5/25 lol, it’s just 4k no big deal. We still get the 2500 voucher for the UWC and gateway, just out of pocket the instal cost.
That was much more than original AWD orders received. I think it was $700. Not $4K for sure. What do the UWC + Gateway cost? Maybe $1,500?

When I ordered I very carefully checked all of the items offered/promised and took screen shots of everything - just in case. Doesn’t everyone do that as a simple caution these days? The order is a contract.

each person has to decide whether what they are paying for is worth what they are paying…before they purchase not afterward.

Was it right to change policy in the middle? No. But in some ways they did customers, particularly those not interested in PowerShare, a favor.

Not sure how many were affected by this, if a small number they likely won’t care.

You should be good
It doesn’t appear that way. I didn’t qualify for PowerShare when I first got the survey in like January or whenever, so in February I got an email saying I didn’t qualify for “installation” so “instead, Tesla will provide you with one year of free supercharging,” which should have meant that I was still entitled to the equipment. But then in June, after I had taken delivery of the truck and was already getting free supercharging, they sent me an $1100 voucher to “match our current PowerShare offering.” If I’m not mistaken, the things that I agreed to prior to signing the order agreement were that I was getting screwed on the $4k install credit bc a year of supercharging is valued at $1400, but was still supposed to receive the PowerShare equipment ($2500 value, not $1100)

Make sure you use your credit on Cybertruck accessories only in the store. I tried to use the credit for a Model Y accessory and it removed it when I applied the code (and didn't warn me). If it is a credit for the store, let me buy whatever the hell I want Tesla, FFS!

So many issues with the foundation series offers for beast - likely several are long term investors in Tesla - would be good to make a collective complaint on the issues.

I did the same thing, reached out to the sales team and then confirmed on delivery. They told me that it included the $4000 credit.

I conducted thorough due diligence by visiting the Tesla center, reviewing their internal policies, and confirming that credit would be included. The day before delivery, I spoke with a representative who explicitly assured me that the credit was part of the agreement. While I don't think there was any intention to mislead me, I suspect there may have been a retroactive policy change that impacted my situation.

Seems like they change policies at a whim with no announcement!

For some reason today, I got a lot more action regarding the powershare. Starting with Tesla email that my Cyberbeast is eligible for the install credit. QMERIT called me a couple hours later and got the survey email. We'll see how this goes. My house is actually pre-wired for charging with 3 different locations in the garage with one wall charger already installed. They can use that existing one for power share right?

Yes, they should be able to use your existing wall charger - good luck!
