Hi All,

I pre-ordered my CyberBeast back on Nov 28, 2019. I upgraded to the FS Beast early and took delivery on Aug 17, 2024. I was wondering who Tesla is installing wheel covers and light bars for? Are any FS CB owners getting their wheel covers or light bars yet? I’m also curious to know what the ETA is for the range extender battery (pre-ordered in May)?

They are currently installed for people taking delivery now, and probably for a handful of very early adopters and social media people.

Range extender has been pushed back to 2025.

Hoping to get the extended battery before my credit expires ?

Light bar only comes for beast, so not concerned

Wheel cover, have heard absolutely nothing about these ?

I'm holding my credit for the extended battery as well. Hope they don’t try to make that exempt from things we can use the credit on. ?

I keep hearing about people taking delivery recently with the wheel covers installed. It’s weird that they’d get them before those of us who’ve been waiting.

I pre-ordered the range extender but have been pleasantly surprised by how adequate the range is on my truck, even with towing, so I think I'm just going to eat the nonrefundable $500 deposit and pass on the range extender when it finally comes

It is kinda odd, but man I'd be pissed if they pulled thst bs ? but definitely a Elon move...

I was overly surprised how well it did in my last road trip. But just my experience with my m3p and model s in the cold, to make any decent range it's going to need the extender for long ski trips unfortunately :/ just no way around that battery hit during the cold Temps.

I've only had the truck since May so I have yet to experience cold weather. You're right, I might change my mind back after the winter!

I get it. It’s definitely not cheap either. Don’t forget though, your total range isn’t static. It will decrease over time.

I'm secretly hoping that they're going to say "Oh that big thing in the bed was just a preliminary idea, instead we're going to charge you $15k to replace the truck's half-full battery pack with a full one"

This is my honest hope and prayer xD why give us half a battery ?

But as dae1 said, with slight battery degration + cold weather, this range will not be adequate for long winter road trips. Without stopping an ungodly amount which is doable but not fun. Specially when you're having to do 10-20mph under speed limits to make range ?

Well I've got a trip to the Grand Canyon planned in December, that's 450 miles one way with 7,000ft net elevation gain, I'll have to post a trip report on here. At least I won't be towing a trailer on that one!

Definitely should! Towing a trailer up that would be wild ? would need charger stations quite frequently :3
