Happened to me you can see a line but there is nothing to the touch. Definitely not worse than a painted steel car.

I would try to track him down first, then get an absurdly expensive quote to fix it, then make him pay for it and publicly shame him for being a loser POS.

If your Cybertruck is new, it’s not as big of a concern.
The real hassle comes if your truck is a few months old, as you’ve likely developed some patina on the panels by then.

According to the service manual on scratch repair, you need to buff the entire side of the truck. So, if the damage is on the upper half of a panel, the entire upper half of the truck needs to be sanded and buffed to maintain an even appearance.

Otherwise, you’ll end up with panels that are noticeably lighter in color compared to the rest.

One of the first things I did when I got my truck was open the frunk and try to scratch the back side of the lid stainless steel, which is accessible when the lid is open.

None of my keys would leave a mark, but that side isn't buffed like the exterior side so maybe that makes a difference.
