I'm looking at a couple of options for tires when the time comes for replacing the original equipment tires on my DM Cybertruck.

The options I'm considering are:
  • Goodyear Wrangler Territory RT (OEM)
  • BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3
  • Michelin Defender LTX Platinum
I'm interested in hearing from other owners who have switched to the BFG KO3 and Michelin Defender tires. I'm leaning toward the KO3's so I can deal with unpaved and sometimes muddy roads, as well as have a tire that still can perform reasonably well on the highway..

I'm interested in comments regarding increased road noise and decreased range with these tires, and other issues I may not have considered, such as handling.

I've attaching a comparison of the three tires from the Tire Rack website for those who may be interested.

Thanks!

Just off looks alone I like the K03 way more. I went with the AT111 toyos and I’m happy. Not loud at all and don’t make you feel like you are going over speed bumps when slowing down for a light. I’ve had 2 sets of these on my 2500 and both sets lasted allot of miles some tires won’t. They also have a 50k warranty . I also have a set of the Toyo Rugged on my 73 Bronco
Sorry to add another option ?

Only reason why I am keeping the OEM tires is for the wheel covers. I love how it looks with them. Can we use the wheel covers for other tires without rubbing?

I'm looking for different wheels and tires for street use. I don't need the aggressive tread pattern and the noise associated with them. I would prefer 22-24" wheels with a smooth sidewall on the tires. I haven't seen anything like that so far.

Why do not the stock AT tires work for you? They seem to be designed exactly for your use. Work on street and light off-road.

When my OEM tires wear out, I'm planning on the Defenders for summer (hopefully quiet and efficient, and long lasting), and then Blizzaks or similar for winter.

Do you take the tires off the wheels yourself or do you just have a second set of wheels and swap them out each time? Do you have a lift? Just curious, becuase I like the idea of swapping tires, but just seems like a big pain in the butt... but I am old and lazy now too.

I got the second set of wheels offered by Tesla (almost for free with $2500 Fondation credit). I will swap them myself with a nice floor jack twice a year. I'm worried the Wrangler RTs Tesla is sending for winter tires will be noticeably louder, and I will change them to Blizzaks if they are.
