Tax credit applies if you make less than $150k a year or $300k as a couple. If you make less than $150k a year and buy a $100k car, you prob got other problems than saving $7500.
Sorry, No tax credit so far. I pick mine up Friday. They told me only under $80K and for COmmercial. If you own a business, then they will fill out the paperwork and call IRS for conformation. So , NO for personal at this time.

Got my invite Friday (1129) but wife says either the MYP or the Plaid has to go first. Got the Plaid up for sale officially as of today (ebay and Autotrader) and literally somebody one county over from me is interested and coming to look at it Friday. Fingers crossed. The interested party is wanting to buy the Plaid for her son as a birthday gift, in which the "son" has never even driven a Tesla. Weird. Anyway, looking forward to the CT.
Sounds kinda sus but good luck. Hopefully that person is legit.

The 45W Credit for Qualified Commercial Clean Vehicles (not to be confused with the 30D Clean Vehicle Credit) doesn't have an MSRP limit.

My understanding is a business can include Sole Proprietorship on top of LLC, S corp etc. If you are self-employed and drive for business, it works. Like Uber drivers getting 1099s. Just have to be 50%+ use for business if its split with Personal driving. Would appreciate other CPAs to chime in on this.

I'm planning to tell my CPA to file it. Not sure what form Tesla need to fill out. Don't need point of sale deduction. I drive about 8-9k miles per year for work and that's about 60% of my car usage.

I'm pretty confident if you use it for 60% business you can write off 60% of the vehicle cost. I'm not sure how that effects the tax credit though. if you get 60% of that or 100%. I would think 100% of credit and 60% of depreciation, but not a CPA.

I'm RN115xxx and probably gonna delay if I get an invite. Just bought my dream car. Corvette and definitely cant afford both. Also if they go through them quickly there will probably be a price drop or at least some low interest financing promotions in the future.

Just picked up my non foundation last night! I was ~75,000 in line for reservations but I live in Dallas so I think I got bumped up due to locale. I got the invite Saturday (10/5) morning, ordered Saturday afternoon, got an email Sunday saying I could pickup on Wednesday! The Dallas Service center said I was the first to get a non foundation. So far I LOVE the vehicle. Fit and finish appears great. All panels are aligned and evenly gapped except the upper trim on the drivers side (the rear upper trim is pushing, almost overlapping, with the rear panel). I have accessories incoming from Tesla and Amazon to round her out. Now onto the front side window tint and colored PPF!

Is this thread the only active tracking of RN's for those of us that are looking?

Very nice, congrats.

But can’t believe they didn’t have any tire shine available for your delivery?!

Little goes along way on first impressions being old or new.

There was another thread, started shortly after this one. But most folks have been posting here. My non-FS AWD CT should hit the Lynnwood WA SC on 10/22.

There's also bonus depreciation, deduct 60% depreciation on the first year.

Yeah, hub caps coming off, center caps going on and will add a little tire shine :) There was some glue on the tailgate and they quickly detailed it off so I was happy with the white glove response.

the Commercial Clean Credit is flat rate applied to a Business Vehicle. There's no %. Either its commercial or not. Business or not.
