My farm truck won't have premium connectivity. It also won't have an avatar either. Apparently my calling Elon dancing a dork was deemed as being something else, but I just wanted to share my two cents here.

Wish it didn't have fancy seats and had a metal roof. Hose out interior would be nice. I think I have speakers in the floor in the go to town truck.

Let's try to scrape some more stuff that can break out of this thing. Bring it down another $10k.

Premium connectivity is the gift that keeps on giving to Tesla. I don't like that proposition. Especially on a second truck.
sounds like you want a base Land Rover Defender. Great vehicles.

That's not how that works.

You can't just display one thing and have something else on the invoice. While mistakes happen, it's fraud if you don't attempt to make it right.

It depends on the situation. Retailers regularly cancel orders when a website mistake is made. Amazon has a policy specifically covering this, which states that they may, at their discretion, honor certain price mistakes on a case-by-case basis.

I'm fairly certain this was not intended, and was a case of the website text not being updated.

It's up to them if they honor it, and if they don't, I'm sure there will be 20 20-page post with everyone here arguing why that's wrong or right.

You are correct it is fraud to display information on the item for sale only to change it after you submitted for a purchased. I would definitely pay the $150 to have a conversation with an attorney.

BigJack, did you order the Full Self Driving option? The order details show that you have it, also.

If you didn't order FSD, that is a complicating factor, perhaps. Should/would they let you keep both?

Does anyone know if FSD work without Premium Connectivity? FSD must have some type of "non-premium" connectivity - if there is such a thing - for FSD's map function to work.

Hopefully, they'll let you keep the feature(s). It wouldn't actually cost Tesla anything to do that, other than a vanishingly small impact on their profit per delivered feature because there is no material cost of goods sold for software; Cybertrucks are delivered with the needed hardware to run it.

Yes, I ordered FSD. There seams to be a lot of confusion here about what Premium Connectivity is. Go back to post #26 and read the comparison. FSD has nothing to do with Premium Connectivity. Cellular connectivity has always been free up until they started charging for "Premium Connectivity" and invented "Standard Connectivity" to be the free version.

They removed it, making it right.

Fraud must be proven intent to mislead.

I personally do not think this is fraud. But if they removed it and didn't actively notify the customer with a "Sorry for our mistake, you can cancel your order without penalty" message, I feel that would qualify as deceitful behavior and show intent.

POS. On all range rover products. Camel trophy was because of all the support vehicles needed to support them breaking down all the time. Not known for being reliable in any way, shape or form. And plus I don't want to have to be a mechanic to get it going again in the backwoods of the Congo.

Most of the people that we see driving range Rover products around our Parts are either from Vancouver or some big city and their clothes seem to match it. As in they don't like to get them dirty.

https://bollingermotors.com/b1-b2/ That's what I really wanted, but I don't think they're ever going to really see the light of day.

Cybertruck was second to a product like that.
If you look at many of the fleet options for GM and other trucks that they sell to the forest service firefighting groups things like that they tend to have some of those basic things that are more user-friendly and less gadgety. Gadgets break. And nobody wants to send their work truck to the detailer for the weekend.

You would have to prove the feature was intentionally added to the list for the purpose of deliberate deception.

That's what's wrong.

Not when it comes to sales. State laws vary.

-Crissa
State laws may vary on sales, ie price tags on a shelf etc, however calling something fraud has very little legal variance.

Clearly they made a mistake but I don’t see anyway you have a case unless you paid them out before they posted the change.technically you don’t even own the car yet or have a vin in that photo

i wish tesla would make a high trim level CT. I find the seats in my CT to be quite uncomfortable, the materials cheap, and the overall build quality subpar. My wife’s 23’ RR is amazing, albeit built for a different purpose, but incredibly comfortable. If you need a “work truck’ I suggest you look at a product from one of the legacy brands.
