Since we're scrying and divining data, can I also get friday's lotto numbers and the GPS coordinates for jimmy hoffa's body?
If you buy my essential oils, all will be revealed in the vapor......

Well, Tesla hasn't had a demand issue. It's always been a supply limit.

-Crissa
I 100% agree with this but articles for Tesla's "demand problem" were par for the course.

The IIHS date can be after production has started. They only have it for testing purposes.

-Crissa
Finally, an answer I can get behind. Thanks Crissa

I refuse, I refuse, I refuse to believe this. I'll take Elon's words at face value, so until I hear otherwise from the horse's mouth, production starts late 2021, with volume in early 2022. And this isn't a sketchy rumor.
The difference between December 21 and April 22 is chump change for those of us that are looking at 2024+

Based on the reservation tracker I'm somewhere around 2200 for the dual motor trim, so I'm hoping to at least get the email this year for design finalization. Though I fully admit that is an optimistic timeline.

Looking from the back of the line (#700,000), I am looking forward to read about you getting that email and take delivery of your CT. Until you do, my CT is just a pipe dream. We back-liners (not the chunky type) keep our fingers crossed for you pioneers.

There are definitely big advantages to waiting. My Model Y was about #50,000. It's got some cool things that people a couple months ahead of me didn't get. But the Model Y being made now has way more cool stuff than mine.

I know the comment is along the line of:

"The advantage of being fat and ugly is that people will love you for who you really are".

but it still works. Back-liners need all the support we can get. I really appreciate it.

Yeah, the Model Y that rolls out of Texas is supposed to have 61% fewer parts.

That's just amazing.

-Crissa
I assume that means lower production cost. How much of it do you think will translate to larger margins and how much to lower price? If Y was $35K minus $10K Fed credit at the door, would you still pay $50K for CT2?

The Y doesn't fit my motorcycle in the back and I don't have room for a trailer, so...

But the Cybertruck should be seeing the same cost reductions over time.

In the profit report this last quarter, Tesla said their margin on their cars was ~25%. That's really good.

Its a vehicle production sheet. Your cybertruck doesn't get started until next April. Hoping admins adjust reservation sheet to reflect delivery timelines on your reservation number.
If it isn’t from Tesla, it’s fake or, at the very least, incorrect.
