Probably a control module issue, a few others have had this same issue. I think this is a 48v module, so likely to have higher QC problems early on.

Stop driving and schedule a service appointment now. Prepare for the potential of being hard down on the way to the service center.

You can try a hard reboot, but it may get worse.

Mine did this. Off and on, for a few weeks, then permanently on. Get it on when you can. Mine is in the service center now. I’ll report what the fix entails once I have more info to share.

Posting the errors to help with future searches.
  • TAS_a313 - Adaptive ride control degraded
  • DI_a223 - Traction control disabled
  • DI_a222 - Stability control disabled
  • DI_a246Automatic vehicle hold disabled
  • ESP_a004 - ABS (anti-lock braking system) disabled

Same with mine, it’s at the service center waiting for a wheel speed sensor

Took mine into OKC Service Center this morning. The Tesla app says Estimated Repair Completion is November 20th. One week from today. Sad.

Hey I just had the same problem and got off the phone with service literally 10 minutes ago and this is a ABS MODULE issue, at least in my case it is. I had all the same issues

Just got my CT back. Here is what they have told me.

Technician Notes
Verify customer concern. Diagnosis found fault with ESP module. Found that module will intermittently not wake due to multiple processes being requested at once. Inform customer that as long as all systems are allowed time to wake before driving away, alerts should not return. If alerts do return, allow vehicle to sleep and alerts should clear. Parts are not available at this time.

Will release vehicle back to customer for repairs at a future date at home location.

I started getting these (abs, adaptive ride, traction control, lane departure etc) kicked up 3x times in the last few weeks, 1 while parked and 2x times while driving. One was yesterday on FSD at highway speed 3/4 into a 2.5 hour drive. Had to drive it in "ICE mode", no regen, no FSD, traditional brake pedal.

Was able to clear so far either by walking away for a while and 1 time a two-button reset seemed to clear it, but not always.

So far it's intermittent.

I submitted a service request, Jan 8th soonest.

I have a CB in the 31xxx vin range.

I see others have been speculated as a ABS module, and EPS module or a wiring harness issue as cause.

Anyone actually have a completed service report for this issue yet with a "smoking gun" part?

Tesla Service is preparing to replace my ABS module but they are planning on doing more diagnostics when it arrives. They based this decision on the remote diagnostics.
Ive been driving it the last 3 days and have put on about 300km. So far the codes have not come back.
Ill update when I know more.

I'm at ~5000 miles so far. I've had the CB for 90 days.

Just as a lark I decided to ask Grok to diagnose:

The errors you're encountering with your Tesla Cybertruck, specifically ABS disabled, stability control disabled, adaptive ride control disabled, lane departure avoidance unavailable, and vehicle hold unavailable, can be indicative of several underlying issues. Here's a diagnostic overview based on available information:

  1. ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) Disabled:
    • This typically suggests an issue with the ABS system, which could be due to faulty wheel speed sensors or a problem with the ABS module itself. Wheel speed sensors are crucial for the ABS to function correctly, as they monitor the speed of each wheel to prevent locking during braking. If one or more sensors are not functioning, it can lead to the ABS being disabled.
      https://www.reddit.com/r/TeslaSuppo...his_is_the_answer_for_people_who_are_getting/
  2. Stability Control Disabled:
  3. Adaptive Ride Control Disabled:
    • The adaptive ride control, which adjusts the suspension for different driving conditions, might be disabled due to problems with the suspension system's sensors or actuators. There could also be software issues where the vehicle's control unit fails to communicate effectively with the suspension system.
  4. Lane Departure Avoidance Unavailable:
  5. Vehicle Hold Unavailable:
    • Vehicle hold uses the brake system to keep the car stationary when stopped. If the brake system, particularly the regenerative braking component, is not functioning or if there's an issue with the brake booster or related sensors, this feature might become unavailable. Problems with the ABS can also affect vehicle hold functionality since both systems interact.

Common Causes and Solutions:
  • Sensor Issues: Many of these errors are connected to sensor failures, particularly wheel speed sensors. If the Cybertruck has been subjected to harsh conditions or has suffered impacts, these sensors might require inspection or replacement.
  • Wiring Harness: There have been reports of issues with the low voltage wire harness affecting multiple systems, which might explain the simultaneous failure of these features.
    https://www.cybertruckownersclub.co...-a-bunch-of-scary-alerts-while-driving.13432/
  • Software/Firmware: Sometimes, these errors can be software-related, where a system update or reset might temporarily resolve the issue. However, if the errors persist, it's likely hardware-related.
  • Camera Alignment: For lane departure avoidance, ensuring the cameras are clean, unobstructed, and correctly aligned is crucial.

Recommended Actions:
  • Immediate Action: Avoid driving if these warnings indicate compromised safety systems like ABS and stability control.
  • Service Appointment: Schedule a service with Tesla as soon as possible, especially since these are safety-critical features.
  • Reset Attempt: Try a soft reset by holding both scroll wheels on the steering wheel or a hard reboot by turning off the vehicle and waiting for a few minutes before restarting. This might clear temporary software glitches but is not a long-term fix if the issue is hardware-related.

Given the complexity and the safety implications of these errors, professional diagnosis by Tesla service is advised to determine the exact cause and implement the necessary repairs.
