I’m guessing pretty soon as all the showroom models and lately the demo trucks need to find a home with the new model year and the increasing odometers! But, they’ll likely try to sell all the new 2024 versions first?

In San Jose California (Santana Row) there is an early Cybertruck in the showroom that’s wrapped in a cool dark green. It’s got about 85 miles on the odo and its VIN is in the mid 700’s. Eventually they will likely sell that truck as an inventory vehicle, for example. They can’t sell it new! There must be a bunch of similar examples all across the country that will be sold and replaced w fresh or new models.

There is the whole one year no resale clause. So suspect the first used ones will show in Q1 2025 or later. It took years for used Plaids to become available on Tesla Used. Unless there is an impending S/X refresh that might compel some CT owners to trade in it may be a little while still.

As for the demos, they can, and are, sold as new since they have not been titled. As recently as this past July 2024 you could buy a new 2023 Model 3 pre-refresh listed as New on Tesla’s site.
