Testing the Cybertruck’s ability to climb a sand dune from soft sand was quite a challenge, especially given its immense torque. However, the Cybertruck handled it effortlessly.

Are you using the stock AT tires?
Yes

Quick Question: What tire pressure are you running in these loose sand & deep ruts?

Thanks in advance for your help !

What mode?

Rivian has had various modes (including sand) for unique situations and Cybertruck followed them.

Isn’t this more of a tire and air pressure test rather than a CT one ?

Saw a couple of Cybertrucks in Glamis going over some of the dunes with relative ease. I wonder how much can push this truck with the proper settings/tires

Honestly we are testing at the moment with everything stock
But imo 17-18 wheels is a must if you’re going to be offroading alot

Disagree.

It's not the frequency of off-road use that determines wheel and tire requirements; it's the types of surfaces you want to optimize for, and whether or not you will swapping for road tires when not off-roading.

The OEM AT tires are actually ideal for many types of off-road use. For example, hard surfaced trails that are not too rugged and that are extensive enough that range/efficiency matters.

I off-road a lot, but I don't want to be stuck on off-road tires the 60% of the time that I'm driving on paved roads. I don't recall seeing any off-road tires that have a high enough speed rating for confident high-speed road use. And they have very poor cornering response.

Sure, you could swap road and off-road tires back and forth, but that's not something that needs to be done if the AT tires are working well where you like to off-road.
