Unfortunately it would just be cosmetic things that you don't believe they can sort out easily or in a reasonable amount of time.My understanding is that
It's a flight and then a 6 hour drive unfortunately. I did the same with my Model Y 1.5 years ago and it had a ton of issues.
When I picked up my Model Y 18 months ago there (after flying in) it had a bunch of issues. They ended up working on it late into the night and dialed it all in. But it was a PITA.
This time at least there's a local svc center.
What issues might there be that I would reject the VIN flat out?
I say cosmetic things because you aren't allowed to drive/test the car before taking possession of it and the delivery centers are terrible at catching mechanical/electronic issues before delivery (and I suspect they are incentivized to deliver as many vehicles as possible each quarter).
When I picked up my MY two years ago it had paint that had dripped from the frame onto the step plate and it had a giant crease in one of the seats.
I opted to accept it anyway, they replaced the step plate and the seat in about an hour at a later appointment so it was not a big deal.
