Cybertunnel ("Birthing Tunnel") at Giga Texas

The Cybertunnel will be used to transport assembled Cybertrucks from the assembly line to the outbound lot. It’s being nicknamed, you guessed it, the Cybertunnel / aka Birthing Tunnel

I’m curious if the steel Cybertruck silhouette will be skinned in stainless steel or if this is the finished product.

This is a photo of the “birthing” tunnel entrance on the factory side. The other end leads to a large staging area where Cybertruck’s are loaded onto semi trailers and delivered to service centers in the US, Canada and Mexico.

For anyone else who had to Google it, the cybertunnel is a tunnel that has been bored under a busy highway to bring finished vehicles from the factory to a parking lot on the other side for storage.

It has been referred to as a "birthing tunnel".

That would be very cool... BUT, FSD-enabled Teslas usually need to drive a few miles to calibrate the cameras. They would probably need a factory-specific software stack to handle the tunnel prior to performing a full calibration.

I'd love to have that job. "What do I do? I drive trucks underground." Probably get replaced by Optimus anyway ?
